A lovely three storey town house in the centre of Ludlow, down one of the most expensive rows in the town. With much to offer, the town itself is a lively and unspoilt market town, with great charm and character it breathes history at every turn. Alongside the independent shops are the traditional market and award winning restaurants. For those wishing to explore the countryside, the town’s outskirts are surrounded by the beautiful and unspoilt Welsh Marches. Tourist attractions are plentiful and include the Secret Hills Discovery Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm Museum, Ludlow Castle and racecourse. Horse riding nearby. Ideal for golf. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Gas central heating included (£30per week, £15 per short break November-March). Electricity, gas, bed linen and towels included. DVD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Freezer. Enclosed garden. Public car park 200 yards. No smoking. Friday to Friday. NB: 4 steps in garden.

  1. Everything was lovely, the open fire would have been better if it was full and lightable or at least an option. Directions to the cottage would have been good as the sat nav was very confused. The car park directions weren’t very clear. But we had a brilliant break and the cottage was excellent. Dec 2012.
  2. Parking outside the propety is possible and we managed it the whole stay. Very narrow street though. Do try the cafe on the green down by the river. Excellent lunch and afternoon cakes are a not to be missed experience. Some excellent restaurants in Ludlow but the Michelin ones will set you back serious money. Absolute gem though, at very good cost, is the French Pantry. Book in advance at weekends, always busy. House was superb but do be aware it is over 3 floors. Can’t wait to go back. Sept 2012.
  3. Lovely cottage like home from home, an added bonus was realising it had a lovely private garden, tiny but a real sun trap a treat to have breakfast on the patio. Well equipped, lovely cottage definitely worth a visit - parking a tad tricky. Quests from Wirral. Aug 2012.

Lovely house perfectly situated to explore all the charms of Ludlow. 3 bakeries within a few moments walk are perfect for purchasing breakfast, varied markets almost on your doorstep nearly every day. House is beautiful and comes well equipped with all you could think of for the perfect family getaway. April 2012.

  8. Beautiful Cottage, excellent location - would definitely stay there again, most wished it was our own house. Would love to know the make of mattress in top bedroom as more comfy than our own bed. Nov 2011.
  9. What a fantastic place to stay. The very best of old on the outside and brand new on the inside, and perfectly located within a delightful old town. We had a grandparents/ parents/ children break and everyone loved it. Sept 2011.
  10. Lovely to be so central. Enjoyed open-air Shakespeare at the Castle (even though it was a bit wet and the actors were falling over!) and Iolanthe at the Assembly Rooms (both part of the Festival). Lovely town, beautiful church, pretty countryside, with lots of walks. Good food. What more could you want? July 2011.
