1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

This detached, single-storey, stone barn conversion retains original beams throughout and offers cosy holiday accommodation for a couple. Enjoy walks in the nearby Royal Forests or catch the bus and visit the magnificent Château of Versailles.

The area is dotted with châteaux and parks waiting to be explored, as well as towns rich in heritage and history.

There is an open plan living are with patio doors opening onto the large garden which is shared with the owners. Horse owners can bring their horses for some excellent riding!

Shop 2km, café/bar and restaurant 3km.

All on ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and basin, sofa bed in lounge.

Central heating, all fuel and power included in rent May - Sep, €25 supplement Oct - Apr, bed linen and towels included in rent, shared enclosed lawned garden, courtyard, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets. No smoking please. NB: Drops to stone steps.

  1. An excellent location for easy access to Paris, Orleans, Chartres and Versailles by train from nearby Rambouillet. Get in quick with the owners as they will point you in the right direction for interesting excursions, nothing was to much trouble for the hosts who were very friendly and made us feel at home straight away. One of our local highlights was a visit to Espace Rambouillet, their bird of prey display was second to none, to have vultures and giant eagles skim over your head was pure magic. We would definitely visit the same gite again. May 2012.

  3. The cottage was absolutely beautiful! The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome, providing helpful information about potential day trips including travel advice. The location was lovely and peaceful and provided a fantastic base to explore Paris and the surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend to others! Aug 2011.

The location was very quiet village, with no immediate shops, however it was close to the local town of Rambouillet and ideal for easy access to Paris/Versailles and close to main routes further in to the country. The gite was a perfect size for two people, clean and well furnished and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. July 2011.

Every hour from nearby Rambouillet (17 euro’s return including 1 day Paris Metro ticket). The owners were lovely & I was sorry to leave. June 2009.
