This spacious, south-facing, third floor penthouse apartment is less than 150 yards from the beach, next to the harbour and marina in Burry Port. The holiday apartment is conveniently located on the coast between the Gower Peninsula with its Rhossili Beach and the Pembrokeshire National Park. It is also ideally situated for trips into mid Wales, and offers unrivalled views of the lighthouse, sand dunes and beach with uninterrupted views across Carmarthen Bay towards the Gower Peninsula. An ideal seaside destination offering attractions such as the Blue Flag Cefn Sidan Beach and the Ashburnham Links Golf Course. Within a 20-minute drive is the Jack Nicklaus Golf Course, Scarlets Rugby Teams stadium, and the Ffos Las Racecourse. Visit Pembrey Country Park and the Pembrey Race Circuit and Kidwelly Castle, or cycle to these on the 14-mile cycle path. Set on the coastal path and within an hour’s drive of the National Botanical Gardens. Cardiff to the east and Tenby to the west. Horse riding nearby. Shops, pubs and restaurants 0.25 miles.

  1. Clean, modern apartment. Lovely views. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the south of Wales. May 2012.
  2. The apartment is fairly new and is light and spacious, with a view across to the Gower and everything you could want. Useful local information is included in a folder. We had not visited this area before and found Burry Port an excellent place to be, with nice walks and plenty of places to visit. It was useful having the station only 10 minutes walk away. We particularly enjoyed the waterfalls in the Neath valley,Rhossilli, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and the Wetlands Centre, all within easy reach. Our favourite place was Aberglasney Gardens. May 2012.

  5. The apartment had wonderful views across to the Gower, and a coastal walk right outside the door. My only reservation in recommending this property is that we were 4 adults with two cars, and although the details said ample parking, only one spot in the car park is reserved for the flat and the rest is street parking and only if you are lucky.   6. Lovely flat right on the sea, nicely furnished, well provided. Brilliant walks locally. Go to Swansea by train in just 25 minutes. A credit to the owners. Sept 2011.
  7. We had a fantastic time at Gower View. We were looking for a quiet, relaxed, romantic getaway and that’s exactly what we got. The apartment was lovely and catered for all our needs. We had a nice welcome from the owner and a bottle of wine too! The apartment itself was modern but with a cosy feeling and spotlessly clean. The balcony and view across the beach were stunning. There’s a fantastic pub across the road called the Cornish Arms. The meal we had there was just gorgeous. Everyone in the area was very friendly. We went on lots of walks. We also caught the train (station is about 5 mins walk) into Swansea for a night out. And had the best takeaway we’ve ever eaten from Sher Khan’s in Llanelli - who delivered to the apartment. Overall, a fab time! March 2011.

  14. The property was ideally situated with an uninterrupted view of the sea and very easy access to the Millenium Costal Path. It was well appointed, very clean and there was a welcome pack on our arrival. The owner Wayne was very welcoming and gave us an overview of the area and there was also a folder containing comprehensive information of the many attractions and local restaurants. June 2010.
  15. A nice and light airy feel to the apartment. The usual standard with a bottle of wine, milk and tea bags, so one did not have to rush to the shops. Will use again next year if possible. May 2010.
