Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Very relaxing time despite not 100% summer weather. June 2012.
  2. An excellent property for a family + grandparents as the sleeping accommodation is split on the ground floor and 2nd floor with living spaces on the 1st floor. Generous sized rooms, very warm. Kitchen is a bit basic so don’t plan adventurous meals! March 2012.
  3. Nice solid old cottage in a remote location but convenient for the A40, Symonds Yat, Forest of Dean and other local attractions. Not particularly modern, but had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with friends. Good local pub nearby and nice views of the hills (cut in half by the A40 unfortunately, but not much noise from it). Dec 2011.
  4. Excellent time had by all. Certainly our two dogs enjoyed the time there, so many walking areas. It was great staying on farm grounds. June 2011.
  5. A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. All the facilities provided were very good, and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful - even coming to find us when we got lost trying to find the cottage. Sept 2010.
  6. Beautiful rural scenery but within easy access of area. Aug 2010.
  7. The property had a wealth of wooden beams which made it very homely. July 2010.
  8. Nicely furnished in appropriate manner for cottage within excellent surroundings. Possibly slightest complaint could be that there could be a few more utensils and items of crockery as we like to cook when on such holidays. May 2010.
  9. Large house in quiet farm location. April 2010.
  10. Perfect location with a lovely old cottage. Feb 2010.
  11. It was an ideal location for our two grandchildren. They were able to ride their bikes in complete safety and they loved seeing the animals on the farm. It was very comfortable and in a very pleasant location. Aug 2009.
  12. The cottage, countryside and weather were exactly what we wanted. June 2007.
  13. Relaxing time in a lovely rural location with the friendliest hosts you could imagine. Aug 2008.
  14. Just magical! The children were warmly welcomed and encouraged to wander around the farm, the accommodation was spacious and homely. The setting was lovely and the owners helpful and informative. March 2006.
