It’s truly a walker’s haven with The Wye Valley Trail running alongside the property and the nearby Elan Valley with its breath-taking scenery, magnificent dams and reservoirs - offering splendid walking and cycling. The area is home to the majestic red kite, and with a bird feeding station within walking distance, it can be a popular sight. Guests are welcome to roam the owner’s 270-acre farm. Fishing, riding and golfing can all be found locally. The Spa town of Llandrindodd Wells is within an easy drive. Shops ½ mile.

  3. This cottage has the most incredible views with Red kites passing by the windows every few minutes. There are walks that can be taken from the doorstep as it is metres from the Wye Valley trail. The bedrooms are big and comfortable, there is a cosy log burner in the front room and it is very well equipped. I would highly recommend. Also you can have fresh eggs whenever you want them from the owners chickens. Feb 2012.
  4. Ideal for walkers and explorers of the magnificent scenery. The owner, made sure we were warm and comfortable and her recommendation of the local pub (The Triangle) for meals was absolutely right. June 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
