Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Great accommodation in an excellent area, only problem were the single track roads you have to be careful when driving. Two local pubs, Holland Arms and White Lion served excellent food and beer. July 2012.
  2. Lovely cottage, VERY good welcome and all drinks, condiments and other essentials there for us. Narrow access roads... would be an understatement! Always take it steadily when driving - some of the locals don’t! June 2012.
  3. Well located for exploring North Wales. June 2012.
  4. Lovely little cottage with great big beds and ensuites. Very comfy living room and well equipped. A good base to head into northern Snowdonia. May 2012.
  5. We stayed at Gelli Glud over the Valentines break. We thought the cottage was in a superb location. The owner was amazingly friendly and accommodating. The photos on the internet don’t do the cottage enough justice. We should stick a few up of us with our huge grins! We thought the cottage was in a romantic spot, it was quiet and comfortable. The owner has gone to a lot of effort to ensure its of a high standard, and it has all the latest modern appliances. Oh, and it has this amazing massaging shower spa which we loved. I think you can tell from the amount of love references we were in LOVE with this cottage! We came via London and it was an easy enough journey. Enjoy yourselves! PS there are two sides coming via the farm. There is a pub about a mile and a half of a walk away, but maybe.. it took us slow walking along the hills for about an hour. It’s closed on Wednesdays so do ask the owner what time it is open! Feb 2012.
  6. We had a wonderful stay at Gelli Glud. Our 6 year old Daughter especially loved the Farm location. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable as well as the rest of the cottage. The fittings are definitely above the usual standard. The location feels ’away from it all’ without feeling isolated. Easy access to Conwy and Llandudno. I would stay again and I can’t recall the last time I said that about a holiday rental. Would recommend Top Table for great food in Llandudno. April 2012.
  7. We had an amazing few days, very baby friendly cottage. Jan 2012.
  8. the cottage is in an excellent peacefull location to explore the beautiful North Wales coast . tastefully decorated and very cosy inside and with a very friendly owner , all you need for a great holiday we will return. Nov 2011.
  9. A quiet ’away from it all’ cottage. Sept 2011.
  10. Very peaceful location but within easy reach of all amenities. You could not ask for any thing more, the cottage was equipped so well it was just like a home from home. Very ware and helpful welcome. Aug 2011.
  11. The photographs in the brochure/web site of the interior do not fully convey how luxurious this property is. The exterior is still under improvement (this barn conversion is in its 5th year) but this does not detract from the charm at all. Plenty of birds, 3 cats, 2 friendly dogs, 2 peahens and numerous chickens - including cockerel- and fields of sheep all around. June 2011.
  12. Very welcoming, clean and comfortably furnished. Two lovely bedrooms with wonderful beds and en-suites.Kitchen small but well equipped. The owner very pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. The surrounding countryside is stunning and people very friendy.Would recommend this holiday home and would in fact be interested in staying there again, we had a fabulous holiday. May 2011.
  13. This is a great place to stay if you are after peace and relaxation. Excellent rural location, ideally situated to visit Conwy, Snowdonia and many other tourist spots. We would recommend this place to stay and the owner of the property was always on hand should anything be required. All you have to bring to this cottage is yourselves as this really is a home from home. April 2011.
  14. Great cottage with all amenities. Would be useful if the details of how to get to The Holland Arms pub for a drink or meal were provided - took us quite a while to find it. April 2011.
  15. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Accommodation had everything you could wish for and even had an home made cake made for us. Most definitely would go there again. Ideal location for visiting all of North Wales. March 2011.
  16. It was perfect for our requirements no noise traffic .... Jan 2011.
  17. Lovely homely feel. Jan 2011.
  18. Well decorate and good furniture. Dec 2010.
  19. This cottage was absolutely perfect. Well thought out for maximum comfort, privacy and a wonderful location for visiting a large number of local attractions. Owner was very helpful and the cottage went above and beyond our expectations. It had everything and more that we needed. Even in heavy snow we had a wonderful trip. Dec 2010.
  20. A lovely, warm cottage and friendly land lady. Home made Welsh cakes, tea, milk etc on arrival were very welcome. Recommended to friends ,who have already booked next month. Nov 2010.
