  1. A lovely welcoming little cottage. Ideal for a re-charging break. We relaxed the moment we walked in and the views are wonderful. It lacked nothing, everything you needed was there and the eggs and milk were a lovely touch. We would love to return and can imagine it to be very special in the summer with such a lovely outlook. Nov 2012.
  2. A very well appointed cottage extremely friendly owner. Very clean and maintained property. Very good walkimg area and very dog friendly. Nov 2012.
  3. From the very warm welcome when we got there the holiday was great. The cottage is exactly as described and the owners had even left a bowl of water ready for any pets, also a towel for the dog. For the humans there was tea bags, coffee and milk left. Both the cottage and the grounds were very pet friendly. If your looking for places to eat we could highly recommend the Smithfield Bell in Welshpool, there’s also a Chinese restaurant (the owners of the cottage will tell you the name) as they were very helpful with information about places to go for days out. The location of the cottage gives wonderful views of the Welsh countryside. Its just right for 2 people, it’s cosy and warm. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need so all you need to take is the food. Would definitely go back. Sept 2012.
  4. Lovely cosy cottage, friendly owners. Great views. We walked up Moel y Golfa and a couple of other hills from the cottage. Beautiful views. Welshpool nice little town with a half hour walk up to castle and a great little steam railway other end of town. July 2012.
  5. Friendly but not intrusive owners always willing to oblige and help in any way. June 2012.
  6. Delightful cottage and owners. One cannot get better. March 2012.
  7. Really friendly welcome, beautiful little cottage, perfect for aa weekend away from the kids. March 2012.
  8. Gardeners cottage was in a fantastic location. It had the convenience of Welshpool nearby, if you needed the facilities you expect in a town, but the cottage itself stood in lovely grounds and was very peaceful. It was wonderful for dogs too, as dog bowls and towels were provided and there were many varied walks straight from the cottage. The cottage was lovely and warm and cosy, which in our case was a blessing, as we came back soaked to the skin each time we ventured out for a walk!! Fortunately, there was always plenty of hot water for a bath or shower. The owners of the cottage were very kind and provided wine, chocolates, biscuits, milk etc, which made for a lovely welcome. We will certainly be telling all our family and friends just how nice a place it was for a holiday. Dec 2011.
  9. Very comfortable and welcoming. Walking routes out the back of property were great for the dog. I would definitely recommend this cottage and will look to stay here in the future. Dec 2011.
  10. Delightful homely cottage furnished in the style of a typical Welsh Cottage, but with all the modern amenities that are required by to-day’s generation. Everything that you could possibly need was provided even including a sewing basket for that unexpected repair. The lovely owner of the property had provided a "welcome pack" of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage has its own garden and small terrace which I was delighted to use for my afternoon tea. Overall I felt that I was made very welcome and would be more than pleased to visit again. May 2011.
  11. The owners made me feel so welcome and were so helpful as well. I have never seen my dog settle in so quickly into accommodation: he was off making friends and just settled in as though it was home. I believe he picked up the relaxed and warm atmosphere. March 2011.
  12. very homely, everything in there you would need, highly recommended. Feb 2011.
  13. Very pleasant people, very beautiful scenery, one of the cleanest properties we have visited. Jan 2011.
  14. First class owners. Feel as though we have always known them. Nov 2010.
  15. Lovely cosy cottage, very warm and clean. The owners were lovely and very welcoming, we would definitely go back. Oct 2010.
  16. Great location for us. July 2010.
  17. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. The gardens were beautiful and the views marvellous. A very well equipped cottage. July 2010.
  18. Liked how quiet it was, clean and with such wonderful views. July 2010.
  19. Picturesque, comfortable, clean. June 2010.
  20. Comfortable. Apart from a washing machine, the property had everything we needed. Light and airy with good views from the windows. May 2010.
