Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The property has a lovely setting nestled next to the locks which gives excellent viewing of the boats using the canal which the children loved to watch. The property itself is excellent with everything you could wish for. The children enjoyed the fact that their was a tv in their bedrooms so they could lie in bed in the morning and watch what they wanted which meant a nice chilled morning for Mum and Dad. The surrounding area is lovely with lots of things to do. June 2012.
  2. Have stayed at this property and the other nearby many time over the past 10 years. March 2012.
  3. Lovely property and location however a few finishing touches would not go a miss. Nov 2011.
  4. The Cottage was superbly appointed in a beautiful and remote location. I do not think the accomodation could have been better. Oct 2011.
  5. A beautiful lodge in a wonderful location. Can’t recommend Gairlochy Bay highly enough. Everything about the place was perfect... except the weather, pity the owners hadn’t arranged that too! Sept 2011.
  6. Fantabulous experice. July 2011.
  7. Fabulous venue. We loved the Caledonian canal and watching the boats. We even had one there our selves. The facilities are fabulous, the lighting is fabulous, the beds are fabulous, the flat screen is fabulous. What more can I say? It was great despite the dubious weather. We loved it a second time around! July 2011.
  8. Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house, we had a wonderful stay there. Thanks for letting us share your beautiful house. May 2011.
  9. The views from the property are outstanding and it is well located for touring the area or for just relaxing watching the boats go by. The standard of the accommodation is excellent. The owner does provide bottled water on arrival as the tap water is somewhat of an acquired taste but we found that we had to buy extra water during our stay so we would recommend bringing some with you. April 2011.
  10. Perfectly situated. Very quiet. Feb 2011.
  11. Excellent standard of finish and equipment. Location very good. Dec 2010.
  12. Breathtaking views, tranquility and the layout of the property. The welcoming bottle of wine was also well received. Oct 2010.
  13. The lodge was just perfect - beautiful, comfortable, practical, not overlooked and within easy distance of amenities and activities. Oct 2010.
  14. Peaceful location, great views, modern furnishings, really comfortable beds. Not enough comfortable seating to watch t.v. Oct 2010.
  15. Property was very clean and spacious, those distinctive hills rising dramatically from the landscape, wonderful experience, very cosy indeed. Sept 2010.
  16. The location was lovely and quiet and the view was spectacular. The property was in very good condition - almost brand new I would say - and we enjoyed our time there. My two boys were extremely happy with the technology on offer! Aug 2010.
  17. This is a new property, swiss style pine chalet, beautifully decorated with superb lighting. The views are wonderful of Loch Lochy and Ben Nevis and on wet days the enormous plasma screen is ideal. July 2010.
