Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A beautiful cottage in a stunning location, lovingly furnished. Somewhere you’re happy and comfortable to spend time in if the weather’s not very inspiring. Nov 2011.
  2. It was a romantic surprise for my husband’s Birthday, and we were absolutely delighted with the cottage. Freshly baked bread was waiting for us, and arrival tea/coffee and milk was waiting for us. It was charming, peaceful and perfectly located for beautiful walks, and a sense of being at one with nature. Nov 2011.
  3. Wonderful tranquil location with easy access to many local sights and great walks. Cottage is comfortable and well equipped for your holiday. April 2011.
  4. It was small and cosy, just the right size for a couple. Lovely surroundings. Oct 2010.
  5. In a beautiful location and lovely accommodation. The accommodation was to a very high standard (we especially liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom). It isn’t overly large - definitely no more than 2 adults and a child - but very good use of the space. Pets are allowed - a plus for us as we have a dog - but you would not know that animals have been in the accommodation. The premises are extremely clean and well maintained. A nice patio and garden area and a very nice touch in that the owners allowed us to use their field to exercise our dog. The owners were very helpful when we needed them to be but even though the accommodation was close to their home, they in no way intruded into our holiday. I have booked holidays through other websites but this was by far the easiest process and best accommodation I have stayed in to date. Well done! Aug 2010.
  6. Lovely ’away from it all location’ suits anyone who likes a rural retreat. Aug 2010.
  7. Absolutely gorgeous! April 2010.
  8. Very secluded, very quiet. March 2010.
  9. Beautiful location, lovely friendly owners. March 2010.
  10. It over looked the camel valley. Sept 2009.
  11. Foxed Den was an excellent retreat, it was well appointed and comfortable. It was well away from residential areas so very peaceful, the stars at night we fantastic being so far from any light pollution. Good local walks, including 10 minutes to the camel trail. Friendly owners were just next door but they left us very much to ourselves. Aug 2009.
  12. Peaceful rural location - access via 6ft wide roads though! Handy for Camel Trail. Aug 2009.
  13. Although it rained the whole week, this did not prevent us from having a very enjoyable holiday. The cottage was so relaxing that we were quite happy to stay in and read etc. A beautiful property, secluded position, very peaceful, picturesque scenery. The cottage was exceptionally clean, very well resourced, very pleasant and helpful owners who did not intrude on our holiday. July 2009.
  14. It was nice to see such a quality accommodation that accepted pets. Perfect for dog owners and walks. May 2009.
  15. It is very near the camel trail (for cycling and walking) and camel valley vineyard both just a few minutes away on a bicycle. March 2009.
  16. Lovely little cottage, perfect for relaxed romantic weekend breaks. Feb 2009.
  17. Very clean, nice location, friendly owners and lovely local walkies - excellent for the dog. Sept 2008.
  18. Our dog was made fully welcome and was excellently catered for in terms of availability of walking areas in immediate vicinity. A very comfortable cottage for two. Feb 2008.
  19. Excellent cottage, very well located and equipped. Very friendly owners. June 2008.
  20. Lovely little cottage, perfect get away for two. Had absolutely everything we could think of and more. The sky TV was a bonus, as weather wasnt kind to us. Parking was a little awkward (but not a problem), but work was in progress to improve this at the time of our stay, which did not affect us in any way. The owners left us to do what we wanted, but did say we could ask them, if we needed anything, either by phoning or simply knocking on there door. I would say that the accommodation was closer to Bodmin than Padstow. This wasnt a problem for us as it meant access to places of interest was easier. Feb 2007.
