With views of Danby Dale, these former working barns, set on an organic Grade II listed model farm and date back to the 1800s. Bridle paths and cycle tracks abound through the farm to villages tucked away deep in the valleys of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Visit Kirkby Moorside, Pickering, Helmsley and Guisborough inland and the coastal villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors steam train travels from Whitby to Heartbeat’s village of Goathland. Shops and pub 1 mile.

  6. This is an amazing complex of barn conversions with units for 8 / 6 & 4 people but with sufficient space to not be on top of each other. It was not the cheapest accommodation we found, but was worth paying that bit extra. The extremely pleasant owners made us so welcome, they had thought of everything.
