Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Great location, cottage can only be described as excellent all round, extremely cosy and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need to make your stay that much more enjoyable. Owners very friendly and helpful in every way. Great pub (The Boot Inn) just five minutes walk away with great food and hospitality, a real gem! Walkers paradise straight from the front door or further by car to the Shropshire hills, you simply can’t go wrong which ever you decide to do.Loads of places of interest to visit, a weeks holiday is nowhere near enough to see it all. We will definitely be returning to Ford Cottage in the future, and will be looking forward to another great holiday there. June 2012.
  2. The property very homely and the owners (Bob & Jo very helpful), good location, lots of interesting places to visit within easy reach of the cottage. March 2012.
  3. Lovely old cottage, well fitted out. The second bedroom was a bit of a trek to the loo during the night, however we were well warned. It was quiet at night with only a B road near by. We enjoyed our stay, were comfortable and lucky enough to have only one wet day. (Picture of cottage should be from the road not the garden). Oct 2011.
  4. A lovely cottage attached to the owners own house. Fantastic garden (although you have to keep your dog on the lead to walk the dog in the garden). Fantastic area to visit with lots to see and lots of great walks. Aug 2011.
  5. A cottage with character, lovely location and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. There are so many things to do in the area and we liked the village so much, we intend to go back. July 2011.
  6. A really nice property in a good location. It had everything we needed for a really restful holiday. The owners were friendly and helpful. Great old fashioned pub in the village with good food. June 2011.
  7. A lovely quirky cottage, all open oak beams and pillars and uneven floors. Quiet and peaceful despite being right next to the village road. It was a perfect base for touring Shropshire and Herefordshire. Welcoming but non-intrusive hosts and friendly villagers with a perfect Post Office shop and a ’genuine’ pub. A perfect hideaway for a couple needing peace and tranquillity, or for a young family whose children will love their hidden bedroom behind their own staircase and door. Malcolm Saville fans are in for a treat - the Lone Pine Books are all available and walks on the Long Mynd and Stiperstones only a short journey away. June 2011.
  8. Quiet location on Herts / Shropshire border with good access to plenty of attractions. Good pub in village & friendly brewery in Ludlow. May 2011.
  9. A really lovely cottage with nice features. The owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful with ideas for places to go. They have a dog who loves playing with children and ours had a great time with her. March 2011.

  15. Quaint period cottage with all mod cons. Nov 2010.
  16. Clean, bright, fresh. Well equipped. Lots of character. April 2010.
  17. Probably the prettiest self catering cottage we have had as a family. Lots of period features in a excellent location. Aug 2009.
