  1. We had a lovely stay at the cottage, very peaceful. Very well equipped, everything you needed with the supply of towels and bed linen as we arrived on a motorbike. Only a short walk to village. May 2012.
  2. This was a good location for exploring the many different, chateaux and other interesting places. We enjoyed the troglodges and self guided walking tours in Chinon and Saumur. The tourist office in Saumur was very helpful and provided leaflets for these walks. You can get good deals on entry fees here too. Another week would have been nice to visit more vineyards and a few more Chateaux. April 2012.
