This detached holiday home boasts beams, a fireplace, a large lounge/diner with views over the enclosed garden, a 3-in-1 pool/football/air hockey table, playhouse and swing for children.

Located just outside Villedieu-les-Poêles, with all facilities and shopping. The Abbey of Hambye is only 9km and the large forest of St. Sever is 14km.

Historical Avranches is 17km, and Granville is 24km with great shopping and seafood restaurants. The Mont St. Michel is just 38km by motorway.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 2 miles, beach 15.5 miles.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, shower room with basin, separate toilet, 1 double bedroom. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath and basin, separate toilet, 1 twin bedroom. Second floor: 2 double bedrooms. Third floor: 1 double bedroom with lounge area.

Oil central heating, open fire in lounge, cot, colour satellite TV, video, stereo/CD player, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, barbecue, ample off road parking. One pet welcome. NB: There are open-tread stairs.

  1. We had a fantastic holiday over the new year period. As the weather was not great during this week, we spent a lot of time inside the house and we found it very relaxing. There were 9 adults sharing this property and we felt the place was large and comfortable enough to house all of us during the wet times. There was plenty of crockery, etc for all people to not have to be washing after every use. When the weather was a little kinder, there was plenty to do in the local area. Some of the places were closed due to the time of year, but we found enough to entertain us with use of the extensive array of leaflets found in the villa. The owner of the property was very helpful and friendly providing us with a lovely rice pudding and lighting the open fire for our late arrival. I would recommend this to families and groups of friends. Dec 2011.
  2. We just got back from France our cottage was brilliant, such a peaceful location. The owner Francine and her husband was so warm and welcoming us in to their home, and made us all get on so well, Francine helped us find car boot sale near by, and lovely beach, we did so much with her help we found the cottage lovely, plenty of room too, and having our own garden was great to, and our fresh cows milk ,and home made rise pudding by Francine, was really nice too. We will go back hopefully next year. May 2011.
  3. The bedroom varieties were brilliant for the children and adults staying and they had 2 cots which made things alot easier too. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The owner was lovely and very attentive. Aug 2010.
  4. The onwers were very friendly and helpful. The property had plenty of space for ten people and the grounds were excellent. It was well equipped and the nearby motorway was not a problem. April 2010.
  5. It is a lovely refurbished farm house. The furniture is old rustic French furniture which looks great and there were plenty of hanging rails. The grounds are great for children and the owner was really friendly - fresh rice pudding on arrival, supplied us with milk from the farm, invited us all ( 9 of us!) to her house for an aperitif and had set the basement of her own house up with a table tennis table and bats etc in case it rained or if the children just wanted to play. As it was a little chilly in the evenings she made sure there was a plentiful supply of wood for the fireplace which was great. July 2009.
  6. This was ideal for a large family group, but two of the bedrooms are on mezzanine floors which may pose privacy problems. Aug 2009.
  7. The accommodation was fantastic. The description and photographs of the gite were completely true and accurate. The owners were so lovely and friendly. They went out of their way to help make our holiday fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this well equipped and pretty gite. Would highly recommend this to all. A very pretty area too. Aug 2009.
  8. The accommodation was ideal for us as we had two young children and the separate kitchen area was perfect for use with a small baby. Sept 2007.
