Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Great cottage fitted 2parent 2 children under 7 and a grandparent. Perfect location great village staithes and good access to other places on north yorks coast. July 2012.
  2. The cottage and it’s location could not have been better. Everything was provided and the weather for the whole weekend was beautiful. Oct 2011.
  3. Great place to stop, nice and easy accommodation, lovely location. August 2011.
  4. The cottage was comfortable and the main areas were clean though it was maybe ready for a spring clean and paint. A useful addition would be to be able to lock the upstairs windows slightly open. It was in a good location. July 2011.
  5. If space is what you are after, this probably isnt the place for you, however the accommodation is very old, quirky, quaint and lovely. There is room for 5 to sleep comfortably and it is in the heart of staithes. It is very clean and well looked after. March 2011.
  6. Excellent location however had we had more information about the parking or a resident parking permit available this would have made things a little easier. March 2011.
  7. Excellent homely cottage. Warm and inviting. Close to centre of Staithes. Feb 2011.
  8. I have used this property several times. I cannot fault it at all. It’s warm, cosy, well equipped and in a perfect setting. Even to the point that as soon as you arrive you can have a lovely cup of tea because they provided the tea etc and even a jug of fresh milk was left in the fridge. You literally, can just arrive and start your holiday straight away. Jan 2011.
  9. Loved the location, great base for exploring and the cottage was wonderful would have loved to have stayed longer. Nov 2010.
  10. Cosy cottage perfect for a quiet weekend. Oct 2010.
  11. Quirky cottage with loads of character. At the top of a steep hill, parking was challenging. Sept 2010.
  12. The property was cosy, full of character and very clean. It had everything we needed - the owners had obviously put a lot of thought into it, for example by offering the use of a mobile phone, the use of fishing lines & buckets and spades and to borrow towels. We felt very welcome as they had provided tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. It was lovely. May 2010.
  13. As described, well resourced and suitable for dog! Good position in village only short walk to harbour. May 2010.
  14. A really homely feel to the cottage, with comfortable beds, relaxing lounge and good kitchen facilities. Would highly recommend it. May 2010.
  15. Quaint and comfortable accommodation. April 2010.
  16. The property is very cosy and has a lot of character. The property is very well equipped with everything you need. March 2010.
  17. The property had been tastefully refurbished in keeping with the history of the area. Jan 2010.
  18. Cosy and well equipped, lovely location. Oct 2009.
  19. We liked the old fashioned feel of the cottage and mix of old and new furnishings, there was no compromise on comfort. It was spotlessly clean, every comfort and convenience had been thought of, down to milk and biscuits, the kitchen had excellent selection of utensils and crockery, glasses etc. Coal fire was an absolute delight. No criticisms at all. Aug 2009.
  20. A lovely cosy cottage ideally situated for a winter break, the beautiful beaches are a must for dog lovers. Nov 2008.
