Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A lovely Highland shepherds cottage which was beautifully furnished with great taste. Everything we needed for cooking was provided in the spotless modern kitchen and we loved the log fires at night as it was late October. Every window had a special view... sheep in the field from the dining area, red squirrels from the bedroom and loch views from the sitting room and master bedroom. The weather was mixed and pretty good on the whole for October. Sept 2012.
  2. Lovely, get-away-from-it-all type of cottage. Plenty of things to do, or just relax. Cottage fairly basic, but all perfectly in keeping with the area and style. July 2012.
  3. A very attractive cottage with great views. It doesn’t have a dishwasher or its own washer but we found that its other attractions more than made up for this. The owners have done it out beautifully; and as well as looking good it was very comfortable. Great for lovers of the countryside and wildlife and we loved the boat. We would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful spot. June 2012.
  4. Absolutely gorgeous location, very remote with a stunning view. Really cute bungalow. No central heating but the bedding and electric blanket were top quality. You pay for the electricity you use on the heaters and hot water. The open fire was lovely but we needed to chop the logs smaller into kindling. Take extra towels and toilet rolls tho as one of each wasn’t enough for us! Oct 2011.
  5. This is a fantastic location. There are lovely walks nearby and the cottage has a beautiful garden looking out over the sea. It feels isolated although there are other cottages along the lane. If you are looking to get away from it all this is ideal. Aug 2011.
  6. Great location and views. Aug 2010.
  7. Very spacious property, high standard of decoration, beautiful location. Aug 2010.
  8. Very roomy cottage - much more spacious than we expected. Views front (to the loch) and back (to the hills). Peaceful location. June 2010.
  9. Very clean and fresh. Nice traditional style, not too modern. April 2010.
  10. Beautiful situation. Well-appointed cottage. Very comfortable. Spacious and a pleasure to stay in. Tea and biscuits laid on for our arrival. We felt very welcome. Garden area in front very useful for eating out and playing with 2 year old. Outstanding views and lovely walks. April 2010.
  11. We have a wonderful week in our cottage, we were extremely lucky with the weather which enhanced the views and walks. It was a perfect isolated setting on Loch Melfort and I cannot recommend it highly enough. May 2008.
  12. A shower and washing machine would be helpful. July 2008.
  13. Cleanliness second to none, we felt like we were in a hotel .Internal photos do not do this property justice, it was alot bigger than we expected. May 2007.
  14. What a beautiful, character cottage with magnificent views from all windows. July 2008.
  15. Beautiful setting, peaceful and remote. Aug 2008.
  16. Of all the cottages we have rented during the past few years, this ranks amongst the best for situation and accommodation. Aug 2008.
  17. This is a superb location for those who like peace and quiet. The cottage is very well appointed and we were very comfortable. We have stayed in cottages by your company many times, this was the best. May 2008.
  18. This was a very relaxing holiday, away from it all. Haven’t slept that well in years! Very beautiful views, comfortable and very quiet. An excellent holiday for us. Mar 2009.
