Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely cosy cottage, wonderful to watch the rabbits and pheasants in the garden! Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our Lincolnshire break. Sept 2011.
  2. The best holiday let we’ve been to in the last few years, the cottage had every convenience and had obviously been done up in the last few years. The co-owner, Eric, was very friendly and helpful, he and his wife lived down the lane and were there if needed. There was a nice welcoming bowl of fruit as well as tea/coffee (and eggs later). Best quiet beaches: Mablethorpe North Shore, next to the Seal Sanctuary (which the kids loved) and Sutton on Sea. Best lively seaside: Skegness, for the funfair etc. If anything, the pics and description don’t do this place justice. Strongly recommended. Aug 2011.
  3. A lovely peaceful location with lots of wildlife to see and hear. A good area for walking without traffic and we wish we had brought our dog with us. Everything you could want is provided for you in the cottage, and more (including cake on arrival!)Although old the cottage was spotlessly clean and well kept.Wish we could afford 2 weeks! Aug 2011.
  4. Very comfortable cottage in excellent rural location. Good contact with cottage owners who were extremely helpful and informative. Aug 2011.
  5. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed for our holiday and more. The owners were very welcoming and gave us advice on places to visit. We appreciated the tea, milk, coffee and chocolate cake on arrival and were given home grown cherries during the week. A very quiet country location within easy travelling distance of lovely beaches and market towns. July 2011.
  6. We had a very warm welcome to a cosy and comfortable cottage, which turned out to be exactly what we had been looking for. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings, excellent location for long country walks and for sitting in the garden to enjoy reading. July 2011.
  7. Manor House and audio tour at nearby Alford recommended! Also walks at Gibralter Point nature reserve plus visitor centre, Skegness. Sutton on Sea was clean and charming, Mablethorpe less so. Good shopping day out at Louth. Handy farm walk opposite cottage and the owners friendly and helpful! Village church open during the day. June 2011.
  8. Owners very welcoming and thoughtful, have provided everything you may possibly need during your holiday - TV in main bedroom, clock radios in both bedrooms etc. Cottage is immaculate and well maintained throughout. Enjoyed a relaxing break on the run up to The Royal Wedding. Only regret was having to return home early to attend street party! Great little get-away, you won’t be disappointed. May 2011.
  9. This cottage was immaculate and had everything you would ever need and more, even some milk eggs and scones to welcome us. The owner was extremely friendly and gave advice on the surrounding area. March 2011.
  10. Well appointed, peaceful, great welcome, cake on arrival, warm. Feb 2011.
  11. There was everything one would need, and the owners were most considerate with finding places to eat where one could take a dog. The accommodation was clean and the beds were comfortable, especially after a hard days walking or spending the day on the beautiful beaches. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Sept 2010.
  12. Very pleasant surroundings and peaceful. Close to town for essential shopping. Owners provided excellent selection of brochures for walks and places to visit. Sept 2010.
  13. Very well set out. Exceptionally helpful owners. Sept 2010.
  14. Very well equipped & very clean, plenty of downstairs space for 4 people, good quality furniture in all rooms, nice outside spaces too, excellent location - rural but without being too far away from towns/coast. July 2010.

  17. Lovely quiet cottage with enough room for four people and a dog. May 2010.
  18. Cake, fresh milk, tea and coffee all in the kitchen awaiting our arrival. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and the garden a delight to watch the birds, squirrels and wildlife because it is situated in a very quiet place. The owner called in to ensure everything was to our liking. March 2010.
