1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

This detached family holiday home has been stylishly and tastefully furnished to a very good standard, combining comfort and facilities to enhance enjoyment for all age groups. Offering extensive views over the local countryside to the rear, the large enclosed rear garden also has views to the pretty local church. There is a restaurant locally, as well as local village pub and amenities within 5 minutes walk. Field View is ideally placed for exploring the region. It lies near the Sussex/Surrey borders, and London can be reached by train in about an hour. Within easy reach are the South Downs with walks, Winchester cathedral, Portsmouth with waterside dining, shopping, and sailing, HMS Victory as well as ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. Southampton, with its maritime history, and slightly further is the New Forest. Beaches at Hayling Island and The Witterings are 30 - 40 minutes drive. Other places to visit are Chichester with its cathedral, Festival Theatre and Goodwood/Fontwell races, Midhurst with Cowdray Polo, Petworth House, Uppark House and Gardens, Jane Austen’s House at Chawton, Gilbert White’s House, Watercress Steam Railway, and Birdworld. Shop 1/4 mile, pub 1/2 mile.

  1. We had the most wonderful holiday in Liss. We have always stayed around Lymington but decided to try something different. I’m so pleased we did what a lot to do and fantastic shops, museums, restaurants. The cottage was superb, so bright clean, lovely fixtures and fitting and so much space for everyone. The kids loved the extensive garden in which they flew a kite, played cricket and football and the play room went down a treat! I could not fault this cottage and rate it a 5* for its location, facilities and quality of furnishings. Already booked for next years half term when we were there looking forward to it.   2. Fieldview is a beautiful detached house which has a secluded garden to the rear. The property is in excellent order, well set out and with many thoughtful extras, including a well stocked playroom. Our children were kept entertained for hours. I loved the property and would definitely go again. Aug 2011.
  3. Rare to find a holiday let with so many toys. We shared the cottage with my brother and his family - he did not even need to unpack the toys he had brought from home for his 2 year old and 4 year old. Very useful that there is a children’s playroom and a more stylish separate lounge for adults to relax in. Also lots of books - I will have to return to finish the one I ran out of time on! Excellent large BBQ a bonus and cleaning utensils left to leave it spick and span for the next holidaymakers. All kitchen utensils of high quality - cafetiere much appreciated. A footpath leads through meadows from the chapel next door to the Spread Eagle pub - more pleasant than walking along the road. This path also links in to the Hangers Way path for longer walks. Only 15 minutes drive to the South Downs Way long distance path and can join it from Buriton, a really pretty village with excellent food at the Five Bells pub. May 2011.
  4. Excellent holiday home for families with a separate playroom (lots of toys for different age groups), good selection of books, a well equipped kitchen and a big garden. We stayed with 3 couples and 3 babies/toddlers during the Easter holiday and it was perfect. It was clean and well maintained. Located close to a few shops and the woods where you can go for a walk/run. April 2011.

  6. The house was excellently maintained, very clean and had everything we could need. The owner was very helpful in arranging early access. The location was very quiet and ensured that we had a very relaxing holiday. In addition, with the local station only 400 yards away, the rail link to London enabled us to take in an opera at the Coliseum. In short, we could not have asked for more. June 2010.

  10. The house was very clean yet very homely. It did not feel that we were staying in a holiday accommodation, but felt we were staying in a friends home but without the friends. Dec 2009.

A welcoming family home, with plenty of space, equipment(including children’s toys)lovely though child friendly furnishings, ideally set in peaceful surroundings but with shops/restaurants within 10 minutes walk.   12. Generally well equipped, maintained & presented. One thing that let it down was the fact that the viewing card in the satellite box was out of date, meaning we had to watch terrestrial channels, for which the reception was poor. Would definitely consider going back though. Oct 2009.

  15. Field view Cottage is excellent cottage in a relaxed and quiet village of Liss with all the amenities nearby eg. Tesco express, pub, restaurants and train station.View in the back- long field was marvelous and the walk in the forest was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed with our two daughters, son-in-law and little 20 month old grand son. We would like to come back again. Sept 2008.
  16. The house was ideal for us, a couple, plus family and friends visiting, esp. the playroom as with a young grandson waking early, his father could take him to play without us hearing a thing. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the rest of the house, and Liss provided all we needed for every day shopping. A few more brochures on local sites could have been useful. Nov 2008.
