There are plenty of visitor attractions and leisure facilities nearby including farmers markets, swimming pools, golf course, waterfalls, Pendragon Castle of Arthurian Legend, the Settle-Carlisle Railway and Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

  11. The accommodation was very well thought out, spacious and comfortable for our extended family of 4 couples and 3 children. There was "cottage based" entertainment provided. The location was excellent for exploring the many attractions of the Eden Valley, Eastern Lake District and North Pennines. In spite of mediocre weather we had an excellent holiday and could have done with a few more days Aug 2008.

  16. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, good dining area for a big group, location was lovely, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. We will either need a bigger cottage next year as more friends want to come or if it’s the same size group we will definitely return to Fenham Barn. Nov 2007.
