Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. It was better than expected, and the owners went out of thier way to make us welcome. On arival tea was laid out with scones, cakes jam ect, fruit and sweets, milk in the fridge. This property should be rated "10" Star. Was also nice to have our 3 dogs welcome. Would recommend this lovely accommodation. Oct 2012.
  2. I cannot praise the cottage and our hosts highly enough. It was in a great location and had everything you would need while on holiday. Sept 2012.
  3. An extremely well equipped cottage with all home comforts. Our dogs had their own little wood created by the owners which was perfect. As there was no secure garden attached to the cottage, it was not ideally suitable if you have small children due to the busy road. Footpaths were only accessible by walking along the busy road. I would recommend this cottage if you want to be near all the endless sightseeing opportunities of Patelely Bridge and surrounding area. Great museum in Pateley Bridge and excellent pub at the bottom of the hill. Sunday lunch a must. Sept 2012.
  4. Great location, ideally situated for the Yorkshire Dales, pet friendly. Would go back here again without hesitation. Oct 2011.
  5. Very nice, clean cottage. Warm welcome with scones on a set table. Would be perfect if dishwasher and internet access were available. Would recommend it. June 2011.
  6. The photo of the outside gives no idea of the excellence inside! Every thing is pristine and the welcome touches are unbelievable, from a pint of milk in the fridge to the fruit in the bowl etc. June 2011.
  7. Excellent cottage, spotlessly clean. Very good location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. May 2011.
  8. Beautiful location. Cottage very clean, linen 100%. Plenty of equipment. Would certainly visit again. May 2011.
  9. Nicely furnished cottage in a great location with wonderful scenery. The welcome cakes and milk were a particularly nice touch. Excellent facilities with a welcoming pub just down the hill. Sept 2010.
  10. The property was very clean and cosy with excellent equipment i.e. good kettle, toaster etc. Aug 2010
  11. Property very clean and comfortable. Nov 2010.
  12. Very welcoming, clean & tidy. Lovely "welcome pack" of milk, butter etc.. plus scones with jam & cream. Aug 2010.
  13. Very welcoming hosts, well appointed accommodation, clean and spacious. After a long journey the afternoon tea of scones and cake (milk in fridge) was very welcome as were the chocolates and fruit. Would stay here again if in the area. June 2010.
  14. We had a welcome pack like I have never had before. Last year i spent over ten times that last year and did not get a welcome package like that. May 2010.
  15. Cosy, comfortable everything you could wish for included including extras, warm welcome and tea table set up with scones/tea etc, sweets and fruit. Oct 2009.
  16. Excellent cottage very well equipped in lovely surroundings. Owners very welcoming and supplied milk, fruit and sweets for when we arrived. Sept 2009.
  17. The general layout and facilities were excellent and the welcoming pack, which included scones, butter, jam and cake, and the bottle of milk in the fridge was very much appreciated, plus other items. Sept 2009.
  18. All aspects were excellent, the welcome most of all. Aug 2009.
  19. We had a fantastic weekend in Pateley Bridge. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations and the owners were extremely welcoming and excellent hosts. We would have no hesitation recommending the cottage that we stayed in. Feb 2008.
  20. This cottage is perfect in many ways. The setting is on the moors yet close enough to nearby towns/villages, close to Yorkshire Dales attractions such as Brimham rocks (5 mins), How Stean Gorge (20 mins), Grassington (1/2 hour) & Malham (1 hour). Cottage beautiful, clean, warm & very friendly hosts who also provided welcome tea, coffee, buns & milk in the cottage for our arrival. Wonderful. March 2008.
