In its secluded position at the bottom of an unspoilt, wooded valley, this 2 bedroom holiday property couldn’t be more idyllic. The apartment occupies the two top levels of a three storey water mill built about 1750. It shares a 5 acres site with the owner’s farmhouse, a few other stone buildings, fields, streams and woodland; its tranquil setting provides a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of urban life. Felin Wen abounds with character, charm and original features. The ground floor of the mill is a shop and tasting area for the handmade preserves made in the former barn by our team of 3, and sent worldwide. Guests are welcome to watch the kitchen at work and have a taste! The garden area to the side of the property offers the ideal spot to laze in the sunshine or barbecue the catch of the day, to the accompaniment of the trickling stream which once powered the water mill: While inside, a collection of modern and antique furniture, a library of books and games, as well as a wood burning stove, provide the perfect ingredients for cosy evenings in. Wander into the woodlands bearing gifts of bananas or carrots and Gertrude and Daisy, two Iron-Age pigs, will undoubtedly take time out of their busy schedule of woodland clearing, to become friends for life.  You can’t fail to appreciate the comfort and convenience offered by Felin Wen, Easy access to so much, yet tucked away from the bustling tourist trail, it provides the perfect retreat for whatever holiday you wish to create.

First Floor: Property is an upper apartment arranged over two floors, has oil central heating and comprises;
Lounge: With wood burning stove, Free view TV, DVD, radio/CD player and a library of books and games
Kitchen/Diner: With electric cooker and gas hob, microwave, fridge (without ice box), dishwasher and there is access available to a freezer if required.
Bedroom 1: With one single bed
Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC and wash basin

Second Floor: Bedroom 2: With king size bed

All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. High chair available on request. A laundry room is available on the ground floor.

Garden to the side with outdoor furniture for 4. One dog welcome but must be kept on lead at all times. Parking for 2 cars.
