The property is located in a little town with all facilities and is only 12.5 miles (20km) away from historic Fécamp with its museum and well known fishing harbour as well as sea food restaurants along the pier.

The road of the abbeys, along the River Seine, with St.Wardville Abbey is only 12.5 miles (20km) away. Étretat with its cliffs is 22 miles (35km) away.

Shop, café/bar 55 yards (50m) and restaurant 110 yards (100m).

Ground floor: Lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom with shower over bath and 2 basins, separate toilet. First floor: Separate toilet and basin, 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single plus child’s single.

Oil central heating, open fire in lounge, cot, highchair, colour TV (for video and DVD use only), DVD player, video, washing machine, freezer, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome.

  1. Lovely big, spacious house, full of rustic charm. Large garden with a BBQ, and children enjoyed feeding the sheep in the bottom field. Well placed for exploring a part of Normandy that we hadn’t seen before. Great to be able to walk to the bakers and the supermarket in the town, although it was a shame that Fauville didn’t have much in the way of restaurants. June 2012.

  5. 19th century French town house full of character - lovely front and rear gardens, gated and fenced so safe to let children run around in. Loads of toys and games for children - including a covered area outside for them to play if it rains or the sun is too strong. House is clean, and pleasant - but not so "nice" as you would be afraid to let boistrous youngsters loose. Do not expect a perfect property with every modern convenience - but at the price that would be completely unreasonable. This property represents good value for money for a family holiday, especially with children. The sea is a short drive away and there is loads else to occupy oneself. And if you stay at home, there is even purported to be a couple of ghosts in the house (an RAF pilot in the attic and a lady in grey on the first floor) - but we did not see either. Sept 2009.

  8. We found this a delightful property furnished in a traditional French style and because it is the holiday home of a French family it does not have the sparsely furnished feel of some holiday properties. Plenty of outdoor toys for children in a very spacious garden. June 2008.
  9. Spacious classic French villa with super large garden which is ideal for children to play in. Being right in the centre of the town means you only have to wander a few metres to get fresh food everyday, brilliant for warm bread for breakfast. May 2007.
  10. A great house, especially for families, with plenty of space and good sized enclosed gardens front and rear. April 2006.
  11. A huge private garden, great for kids for endless games of hide and seek. Right in the centre of the town but because the grounds were so big it was like being in the countryside, so the best of both worlds, shops and tranquility. April 2006.
