Located on the edge of the lively village of Eyragues, these detached single storey holiday villas (refs W14877 and W14878) have parking behind electric gates and enjoy a shared, fenced swimming pool (10m x 5m, depth 0.3m to 1.6m, with children’s pool). They are ideally situated in the famous ‘Golden Triangle’ area of Provence. Good quality facilities in both properties create a cosy enivronment to come back to after a long day visiting Camargue and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Within easy walking distance of the main shops, restaurants and bars in Eyragues, Avignon (7km) is very close by. Also not to be missed is the bustling Wednesday morning market in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. For sports lovers there are two 18-hole golf courses at Mouries and Les Baux-de-Provence, horse riding and tennis courts available within easy reach of Eyragues, or guided walks can be taken through the Alpilles limestone mountains.

Travel up to Les Baux-des-Provence and Maussane-des-Alpilles, famous for producing excellent olive oil, by panoramic road and on the way back explore the beautiful architecture of the old city of Arles.

  1. This is a great property! New for this season everything is very fresh and very well done. The property feels really spacious despite being a studio and has excellent, quiet, air con (it was mid-thirties when we stayed). The photographs do not do this property justice - the outside patio is a lovely little secluded area with table and sun umbrella while the pool is great. Elise (the owner) could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. She made restaurant reservations for us and even took my husband out in her car to show him a great place for a morning run after he enquired. Location wise the village has all the basics you would need (supermarket, excellent restaurant, bar, bakery,tabac, etc) just a 5min walk away and Avignon is just a 15min drive away. Overall a great find! July 2012.
  2. The photographs are not very good of the exterior of this property and do not do it justice - it is much nicer in reality and we nearly didn’t book the property as a result. July 2012.
  3. The property is excellent and very well located in the region. Modern yet comfortable. Cosy without being too small. Easy access to a good size and well cared for pool and sharing with the neighbouring villa was never a problem. The centre of the picturesque village is less then a ten minute walk away with a few bars and some very good restaurants. The larger town of St. Remy is only a ten minute drive away with a far larger selection of bars and restaurants to choose from, if required, as well as a good sized supermarket. The owner and her family live on site and are very approachable. She is maybe a little too helpful on occasion as she is very keen to answer your questions then offer extensive advice on where else to go and what to do. However they are all extremely friendly and pleasant people. It is the perfect location for access to a large amount of surrounding attractions and towns such as Avignon, Aix en Provence, St Remy and not too long a drive to the south coast. Easy access to the motorways means that it is also possible to visit towns further afield such as Toulon, Cannes and Nice if desired. All in all, an excellent villa in an excellent location.
