Property Description

Nestling in the heart of the historic village of Glencoe and surrounded by magnificent mountains, lochs and glens this traditional cottage offers comfortable holiday accommodation. A range of sporting activities are available including climbing, skiing, golfing, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and sailing. The area is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and has been used as the backdrop for many famous films including Harry Potter and William Wallace. There are plenty of gentle forest walks, museums, distilleries, castles, gardens and monuments to visit. Fort William and Oban are easily reached and both have leisure centres, shops, restaurants and bars. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 800 yards.

All on ground floor: Living room. Dining area/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Open fire in living room (initial fuel included). Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Lawned garden with furniture. Barbecue. Parking (1 car). No smoking. NB: Step in garden.

  1. A comfortable cottage in a wonderful location, with local amenities close at hand. The fire in the living room was particularly welcome! Sept 2012.
  2. The cottage was homely and cosy with good quality furnishings. Beds were comfortable and the owners had thought of our comforts with little details like large, quality bath towels (unusual in holiday cottages) and welcome food supplies (delicious oatcakes, cheese and shortbread). The cottage was warm although some of the heat leaked away into the kitchen, which was the coldest room. The cottage was in Glencoe village which is pleasant and extremely quiet and the shop was very convenient and close. The surrounding area is stunning. March 2012.

  11. The property is in the heart of Glencoe - perfect for walking and sightseeing - The village shop is like a Tardis - small outside but very surprising inside and good pricing. Property itself was compact but perfectly adequate for a weeks holiday. June 2010.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
