An ideal spot to tour all of North Wales with Snowdon itself only 8 miles, the Isle of Anglesey 7 miles and the lovely Lleyn Peninsula nearby. A wonderful area for climbing, walking, all outdoor pursuits, with the Plas Menai National Watersports Centre 3 miles away. Local attractions include beaches, an 18-hole golf course on the edge of the Menai Straits (2 miles), park/play area and bowls. Indoor tennis courts, swimming pool and leisure centre approx 1 mile. The Lôn Eifion cycle path and the Welsh Highland Railway adjacent to the house with steam trains to Beddgelert and Porthmadog. Train station at Caernarfon within walking distance. Bicycles can be hired on the quay. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.
