Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely, stylish old property, large rooms and small courtyard garden (on 3 levels). Excellent range of shops & restaurants, friendly village. Good walking for the dogs (up through churchyard to sports field, opens out beyond, lovely views). No bathroom on ground floor so elderly parents struggled a bit with the stairs. Hoover attachments missing so hard work cleaning up on last day! On street parking only but never had any trouble finding a spot for both cars. Bit noisy early morning with the traffic and shop deliveries, if you’re not used to it, not a big issue though. Would have preferred two front door keys. June 2012.
  2. This was the second time we had visited this property and would certainly go again. It is spacious and comfortable. We went in January and it was warm and cosy. It’s within easy reach of places to visit and there is a good variety of places nearby to eat or get a take away. Excellent place for a family get together. Jan 2012.
  3. This is an excellent property for parties of up to eight people. Comfortable and with loads of character, right in the middle of a lovely small town with good shops and pubs. March 2011.
  4. All rooms well proportioned, made for comfortable living. Well positioned in the heart of the village. Feb 2011.
  5. A homely, cosy and warm cottage with a good kitchen and dining space, large well furnished bedrooms and bathroom. A shortage of light bulbs in a few rooms! Feb 2011.
  6. Loads of space, very comfortable, great for large groups. Jan 2011.
  7. Comfortable and quiet accommodation just right for 6 adults or less. Very comfortable beds and well equipped generally of all things necessary (apart from a fish slice - now provide by one of our party). On-street parking hit or miss outside the property but plenty of places very short distance away. In the centre of town and therefore close to every facility / amenity you might need on during your stay. Nov 2010.
  8. A lovely attractive town house. Nov 2010.
  9. Lovely house, excellently furnished and presented. June 2010.
