Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Perfect location to chill out but still within reach of some superb locations and views. March 2012.
  2. Lovely cotttage in a great location. Very quiet. Two local pubs, both dog friendly and they do excellent food. If you enjoy walking this is the place. Oct 2011.
  3. Really nice cottage, had everything we’d need, good pub right across the road that allow dogs so we had somewhere to go for a meal. Good location for exploring the area but enough out of the way to have a nice relaxing holiday. Sept 2011.
  4. Very nice cottage in a good location. Dog friendly pub just across the road. Nice touch to receive milk, flowers and a bottle of wine on arrival. July 2011.
  5. The cottage was gorgeous, so comfy and cosy, it made you feel very welcoming, the owner left fresh flowers, bottle of wine and milk, which was a lovely, and very unexpected. The location was fantastic, views from cottage were brilliant, and it was very central to a lot of places of interest. The pub across the road did lovely meals, which were good value, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and would definitely go back. June 2011.
  6. The cottage Elana was very comfortable had to drive to everywhere there was good pub opposite with good home cooking but if they had a little evening entertainment it would have been better the local people Langynog were friendly. may 2011.
  7. A fantastic cottage in beautiful surroundings, on our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a vase of flowers and a pint of milk - fantastic. The local shop is less than 10 minutes drive away and the cottage is in easy reach of many locations. We visited Snowdon (approx 1 hour), Portmierion, Barmouth, Arthog, Lake Vrnwy and Bala etc. We spent a wonderful week walking, sightseeing and in the evening either whiling the evening away in one of the local pubs or relaxing at the cottage with a glass of wine planning our next days adventure!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. April 2011.
  8. lovely cottage in small village with two local pubs that do fantastic steaks. May 2011.
  9. The property was clean and made welcoming. Very easy to get to all local tourist attractions and all the locals were friendly. We thought it was great value for money. Feb 2011.
  10. Location great and cottage cosy and there was milk, flowers and a bottle of wine. Nov 2010.
  11. It was a lovely, quaint little cottage which exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The flowers, milk and wine were a thoughtful, personal touch which was gratefully appreciated. Will definitely be going back at some point. Nov 2010.
  12. Very comfortable and well maintained. Extra touches provided by owner made us feel at home. Sept 2010.
  13. The accommodation was clean and welcoming, it was ideal for me a single traveler but it would have been just as ideal for a couple. July 2010.
  14. Good views, mountain backdrop, field full of sheep opposite, well maintained, fresh flowers, a bottle of wine on arrival. May 2010.
  15. Elan Cottage is lovely. It is very cosy & nicely decorated. Nice clean & tidy presentation! A good size too! April 2010.
  16. Idyllic setting looking out over green fields and grazing sheep. Very comfortable 4-poster bed and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs loo a bonus. Compact kitchen has everything you need to prepare proper cooked meal; lack of washing machine not a problem for a week’s stay. The 16th century Tanat Valley Inn and the 1751 New Inn (opposite), welcome dogs and do decent meals if you don’t want to cook. Situated in a valley there’s no mobile reception which is a blessing if you want to get away from work, however there is a phone box 100 yards away and easy free parking in the village car park (100 yards) although the landlord of the New Inn was happy enough to let us use the pub car park opposite. The cottage’s location makes it an ideal base to explore North- and Mid-Wales and not too far to go for a shopping trip into Shrewsbury. Oct 2009.
  17. The open fire was a priority, the quietness a must. Sept 2009.
  18. Good location, beautiful views. Cottage clean and comfortable but only really suitable for two people. No parking outside cottage was not mentioned in the information. Aug 2009.
  19. Good location, in village, near pub, well equipped, cosy but small. Aug 2009.
  20. A good size of property, a proper cottage, plenty of room for the dog and secure outside to let the dog out. Vase of flowers, bottle of red wine and milk also very welcoming. Aug 2009.
