  4. The drive to the house makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and the locations amazing. The rayburn keeps the kitchen lovely and warm all the time plus the fire adds to the homely feel. The fairy cakes on arrival were delicious! Jan 2011.
  5. The property is kept very clean, with a lot of artefacts that are not in any other cottage we have been to. Makes one feel really ’at home’. The owners make sure that anything you want is avaialable. Aug 2010.
  6. I loved the location, in the middle of a farm, with views of the sea and mountains. The garden was perfect - grass and mature trees, surrounded by stone walls. The house itself was cosy and full of character. July 2010.

  9. The cottage was a beautiful, detached, secluded heaven! With sea view one side, mountain views surrounding and fantastic country farmland setting. You couldn’t ask for anymore! A 5 star choice as far as I am concerned! The house has ample heating and each room has a heater and electric blankets. Everything you could need is provided fuel, crockery, cooking equipment. The owners are delightful and super helpful! We arrived late and they came to meet us in the dark (even though they had to be up at 5am for lambing!) and did not hassle us to leave on check out day! We had a fantastic weekend break - thank you!! Feb 2010.
  10. Beautiful location. Very isolated so nice and quiet. Feb 2010.
  11. The property was in character for its surroundings. It was very clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. The fittings were a little dated but in many ways this added to the charm of the house. We would consider this house for a future visit provided it remained more or less unchanged. Our family enjoyed a warm and comfortable stay. Feb 2009.
  12. A great place for families. Excellent location for touring North Wales. April 2009.
  13. We had a great welcome with lovely fairy cakes prepared by the owner which was just what we needed with a cup of tea after an 8 hour journey. John is a wealth of local knowledge and can point you in the direction of whatever takes you fancy in terms of places to visit and activities. July 2009.
  14. Lots of space within the property. Lovely little lounge with log fire for the evenings. Great walled garden for the children to play in. July 2009.

  17. Perfect place for unwinding and recharging your batteries. If you like seeing around castles, walking climbing or just chilling out it is the perfect place to stay also you are well looked after by the owners. Super. April 2009.
  18. Very welcoming, and the property was very clean. Brilliant location with walks on the door. Nov 2008.
