Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Location - Close enough to Cupar if one has a car or is a keen cyclist (busy main road though). Would have liked access to River Eden walks. Good Farm shop at Balmalcom (3 1/2 miles). Sept 2012.
  2. Comfortable cottage in very quiet rural surroundings but only a couple of miles from nearby town, Cupar. Friendly and helpful and welcoming owners in adjacent house. Fully equipped and well located to explore the Kingdom of Fife. June 2012.
  3. Edenwoodend was a very nice well equipped cottage and the owners who lived next door were on hand but not intrusive. Cupar is a good central place for touring either by car or train. Two places to visit are St Andrews fantastic long beach and quaint town, also "discovery" in Dundee about Scotts Antarctic Missions. May 2012.
  4. Jan and Lachlan McIntosh, the owners, were extremely welcoming, friendly and easy going. On arrival they had supplied fresh eggs from their own hens plus a pack of bacon. Instructions on how to use the central heating and other appliances were available. There was a huge folder containing details of attractions and places to eat which was extremely useful. They had even supplied wine which could be purchased and the money placed in the "honesty jar". The kitchen was very well equipped and there was even a Formans grill. Sadly the weather was a bit inclement but if it had been better we could have used the garden for a barbecue and relaxing. We would rate this holiday cottage a 5* one without a doubt and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Scotland as the location is good for getting to lots of areas like Edinburgh, The Trossacks, etc. April 2012.
  5. Beautiful cottage in a quiet but convenient location. The decor was lovely and wonderfully comfortable. March 2012.
  6. This property was one of the most well-equipped cottages we have used through your company. It was very comfortable even in the coldness of winter. There was no restriction on heating used. The owner next door was most accommodating. Would certainly use this property again. We consider it as in the highly recommended category. Jan 2012.
  7. This is a super cottage and highly recommended. One of the best we have ever been in! Delightful helpful owner. Secluded and quiet and yet close to all the local amenities - what could be better? Will definitely go there again-can’t wait! Oct 2011.
  8. The cottage was excellent. Very homely. Everything you could wish for in a cottage and even more. Some lovely touches around the property. Just pack a case and go - don’t need anything else. Hope to go back for another break. Many thanks. Nov 2010.
  9. When we arrived the owner had put a pack of bacon and sausages in the fridge, also a punnet of freshly picked Scottish raspberries. There was also a vase of garden picked sweet peas the delightful smell filled the lounge/diner. July 2010.
  10. Liked the extras provided by owner (foodstuffs+wine). They were a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Hadn’t realised our cottage adjoined owners’ so that came as a surprise, however they didn’t interfere in any way. Enjoyed the peaceful location. June 2010.
  11. Homely presentation. May 2010.
  12. An excellent and most well equipped cottage. Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Located close to St Andrews and the fishing villages of the East Neuk coast. Well recommended. Delightful owners were very welcoming. May 2010.
  13. The property was in a peaceful location but close to the amenities of a nearby town. The owner was welcoming and had left various goodies in the fridge. All linen and towels were provided with spares if required. Mar 2010.
  14. It was very well equipped, exceptionally comfortable. Warm and very inviting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Dec 2009.
  15. Well equipped cottage with everything you would need, dvd’s cd’s tv, washing machine, and the kitchen sink. It was lovely and there was even bacon eggs and milk for us, which was a great touch. July 2009.
  16. There is a folder of leaflets of all the things to do in and around Cupar, which we used and found hugely helpful. July 2009.
  17. Peaceful, character property with good gardens but shared with owners. Rural but lots to do within a short distance. Limited opportunities for walks from property. June 2009.
  18. The cottage was fantastic, and great value for money! It was spacious and welcoming and we are definitely going to go back! March 2009.
