The historic city of Hereford lies 4 miles distant, and the Welsh borders, Forest of Dean and Hay-on-Wye are all easily accessible. Farm shop 1½ miles, pub serving food nearby.

  1. A lovely comfortable cottage, set on a working farm. A great place to take things quietly and slowly. A real get away from it all. Nearby Hereford has all the shops you could wish for and has a lovely atmosphere, although it’s a city, feels more like a market town. People are very friendly and helpful. Oct 2011.
  2. Very good location with easy access to Hereford and surrounding area. Property has been improved from the picture in the holiday details and now has french doors fitted in the lounge with a newly laid patio outside with table and chairs to sit out and look out over the countryside. June 2011.
  3. An exceptionally well-equipped cottage, on a working farm, although we hardly ever heard the ’working’. Very comfortable seating and a lovely patio area. All furnishings of a high standard and everywhere clean and tidy. A very good centre for touring and a good ’pub’(The Swan) nearby for good suppers. A thoroughly enjoyable week. June 2011.
  4. Sense of quiet and privacy with no intrusive farm noises, but owners nearby if needed. They had left a very helpful selection of walking books/ information leaflets in the property to help visitors to make the most of their holiday. April 2011.

  6. The cottage has a really comfortable three piece suite which is most important to me. The cottage is light and airy and well furnished - the underfloor heating was lovely. It is obvious the owner really cares about the comfort of her guests. Nov 2010.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
