This adjoining holiday barn conversion, renovated with superb comfort and style, including 100% cotton bed linen and towels, lies adjacent to the owner’s working farm. Drake Cottage is a perfect location for family holidays, from the elderly to youngsters, there is something for everybody, with endless outdoor activities on site and an abundance of local amenities close by. In Biggar, the local market town situated 4 miles away, there are museums, world famous puppets, excellent boutique shops, award-winning ice cream for sale and several food outlets. For the active visitor, nearby you will find cycling, walking, riding, tennis courts, boating and children’s play parks. The cottage is ideally placed to tour the border towns, Dumfries and Galloway, Edinburgh which is only 32 miles away and Glasgow, an easy 37 mile journey up the M74. The World Heritage Site of New Lanark is a great day out and there are numerous castles and gardens close by. Shops 4 miles.
