Local attractions include a Salters Steamer Boat which can be caught from Oxford back to Days Lock and a walk taken back to the properties, or visit Nuneham Courtney’s arboretum - full of amazing trees, plants and beautiful peacocks. Restaurants within 10 miles for food lovers include Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, the famous Crazy Bear Thai restaurant, The Mole Inn at Marsh Baldon, and the Chequers pub within walking distance serving great British food. Convenient for Oxford, Henley and the M40 for London and the Midlands.

Comprising a spacious main house and attached wing with its own separate entrance, Dinckley Court makes a perfect retreat for large parties or several families (up to 16 guests) holidaying together and is very well furnished. The main reception room has wooden floors and a wood-burning stove as well as Wifi, Sky TV, DVD and iPod docking stations in both the kitchen and living areas, perfect for relaxing get-togethers. There is also a study area on a galleried floor. All bedrooms have TV, six of which are en-suite. The conservatory dining area offers enough space for all guests to dine together, with views over the large garden. Doors opening onto a patio barbecue area with further outside tables and seating within the gardens of Dinckley Court. Extensive gardens lead down to the River Thames, overlooking open farmland beyond. Dinckley Court provides boat mooring with local boat hire also available; fishing is also enjoyed when in season, or at Orchid Lakes with specialist carp coarse fishing lakes ½ mile away. From July to the end of August a marquee is set up in the garden, close to the house with seating and tables, perfect for al fresco dining. All large supermarkets deliver to Dinckley Court and for special occasions the owners can recommend bespoke catering services.
