This is an imposing holiday property in a riverside setting, on the towpath near to the pretty port of Dinan.

This spacious house has a ground floor lounge complete with fireplace. Outside is a sheltered seating area with views of the river and town of Dinan up on the hill. Behind is a large lawned area which children can enjoy.

There are varied and beautiful beaches within easy reach, as well as other popular places, such as Mont St Michel and St Malo.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 3km, beach 25km.

Ground floor: Lounge, separate toilet. First floor: Kitchen/diner. Second floor: Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 bunk.

Electric heating, open fire in lounge (initial supply of fuel provided), all other fuel and power included in rent May to September, €35 supplement October to April, cot, colour TV, DVD player, internet connection, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, shared lawned garden, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome. NB: There are open tread spiral staircases to the first and second floor.

  3. The location couldn’t have been better. A short walk to town but out of the way and quiet. Views were fantastic and the gite warm and inviting. The landlord was excellent. A fuse blew Christmas eve and he was there in five minutes with a big smile on his face. We will return and recommend to all our friends. One negative, the photos online do not do it justice.   4. A great location by the river Rance, with excellent cycle paths up and down the river. Good selection of nearby restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. Oct 2011.
  5. We have stayed in this accommodation on 3 previous occasions and will stay there again as we love it. It suits us well as we like walking along the river and are fit enough to cope with all the staircases in the property, and to be able walk up the very steep Jerzual to the town. It would be more challenging for some people though. Sept 2011.
