You can enjoy the peaceful riverside setting of this 17th century stone-built cottage, whilst sipping your evening aperitif. The property is just a short walk from the centre of the picturesque port at Dinan, with its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, and numerous shops and restaurants.

The house has an open-plan ground floor with a beamed ceiling. There is plenty of space for children to play along the towpath, and also on the shared lawn behind. All the family can enjoy cycling by the river, or try a boat trip, or even kayaking.

Visit St. Malo and Mont St. Michel, and enjoy some of Brittany’s most beautiful beaches and resorts within 40km.

Shop 1km, café/bar 0.5km, restaurant 0.1km, beach 25km.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, and basin, 1 double bedroom. Second floor: 1 twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and basin.

Electric heaters, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, €25 supplement October to April, cot, colour TV, DVD player, stereo, washing machine, internet connection, microwave, shared lawned garden, garden furniture, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome. NB: There are open-tread spiral staircases.

  3. The property was in an excellent location which enabled us to cycle or walk directly from the property along the river. Lovely restaurants nearby in the port. The bar opposite is excellent value and is owned by the property owner (all staff very friendly and helpful). Lots going in in Dinan and surrounding areas. Taden market on Friday evening worth a visit as is Plouer sur Rance, Vincompte sur Rance. July 2011.
  4. Perfect location for a holiday apartment just a few minutes walk from a choice of restaurants and cafes. The area is beautiful with the historic centre of Dinan not far away plus delightful riverside walks easily accessible from the property. The flat itself is kitted out with basic essentials for a holiday let. The owner is very welcoming and can be readily contacted, if necessary. May 2011.
  5. Peaceful and relaxing, the owner was most helpful and welcoming. Many good places to eat within 5 to 10 minutes stroll. Dinan is a beautiful town with fabulous views from the walls. April 2011.

  16. The gite was in a beautiful, riverside location, with a pleasant stroll to the nearest restaurants. The area as a whole was very unspoilt and would definitely return. June 2009.
  17. The owner owned a creperie nearby & always spoke to us and checked to see everything was as we wished. He provided a bottle of wine for us on our arrival and gave us free drinks on our last night, he was so helpful and would not hesitate to use this accommodation again. July 2008.
