With views along the river to the port of Dinan, with its cobbled streets and cafés, this restored, stone built semi-detached holiday home is next to the towpath.

There is an open plan living area with beamed ceiling, spacious first floor bedroom and en-suite bedroom in the eaves of this 17th century house.

All the family will enjoy cycling along the towpath. Explore medieval Dinan, the pirate stronghold of St. Malo and its aquarium, or spend a day at Mont St. Michel. Within 25 miles is a selection of beaches.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 0.6km, beach 25km.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath and basin, separate toilet, 1 kingsize bedroom plus single bed. Second floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower and basin, 1 twin.

Electric heating, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, €30 supplement October to April, cot, highchair, colour TV, DVD player, video, internet connection, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, shared lawned garden, terrace, garden furniture, off road parking for 2 cars. One pet welcome. NB: There are open-tread spiral stairs at the property.

  3. The property was situated right next to the canal and was very peaceful. It had a rustic quality and was very homely, we even managed to BBQ outside every night. Dinan was a lovely town, with lots of restaurants and interesting things to see. We went on the boat Jaman IV which was enjoyable and the owners were very informative of the area along the canal.   4. A comfortable property in a lovely location, we watched otters and water vole in the river almost from the front door. The owners were very helpful and having their bar 10mtrs from the front door meant that you could order food and have it served on your own table. Very useful for ’frites’ for the three year old. Easy to get to a number of beautiful areas around Brittany. The zoo at Chateau Bourbansais was excellent and only 9 miles away. June 2011.

  11. The property was excellent, very spacious and clean, nicely furnished, we were well catered for in every respect. In a good situation to explore Dinan and the surrounding area. Good bistros and creperies within walking distance. May 2008.
  12. We have stayed at this property three times now and each time it has been perfect. The location is wonderful and the owner is charming. The house is lovely and very well equipped. It is located on the edge of the village and just right for accessing the restaurants and shops. May 2008.
