Property Description

Set high above the North Cornish Coast Path in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these three holiday cottages enjoy views towards Trebarwith Strand - a good beach for surfing. Adjoining one another and converted to a high standard, they have all retained much character - with beamed ceilings and slate flagged floors; with Purlinney also boasting a superb fireplace with a clome oven dating back to the 15th century.
Set on a working farm, all three holiday cottages have their own sitting-out area and enjoy a superb tranquil location.
Within a few miles are a selection of beaches including Polzeath, the sailing resort of Rock and the dramatic scenery of Boscastle and Tintagel. Eden Project within a ¾ hour’s drive. Shop 1½ miles.

  1. Fabulous cottage with great views, comfy settee, wonderful bath, spacious kitchen. Had a great meal with great views at the Port William at Trebarwith Strand only 10 minutes walk away. Tesco will deliver groceries to this cottage! Nearest shop a short drive away in Delabole. Great surfing at Polzeath. Great cycling along Camel Trail. May 2011.

  7. A lovely cottage in a beautiful location, we had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful. The beach at Trebarwith Strand was gorgeous and perfect for our little children with lots of warm pools and soft golden sand. May 2009.
  8. Tastefully converted property with a relaxed homely feeling. Situated in a peaceful and beautiful location, with footpath access to beach and 2 nearby pubs for those wishing to eat out. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a pleasant, sheltered and private outside area for eating at the cottage. The owners were welcoming, professional and have a thorough knowledge of the area. July 2009.
  9. It was beautifully presented, very spacious with open plan living accommodation downstairs giving a fantastic feeling of space for a 2 bedroom cottage. Within 10 minutes walk of the beautiful trebarwith strand beach - good for surfing (has a surf school), and also for young children - a sandy beach with rock pools and caves to explore. The cottage was really well equipped, it really did have everything we could possibly want. We will definitely rebook with this cottage in the future. It was on a working farm and this was charming. Aug 2009.

  12. This is a wonderful peaceful cottage, easy & enjoyable amble down to the lifeguarded beach, takes 15mins & that’s with carrying all our surfing gear! Aug 2007.

  15. The only thing that we didn’t like was that there were two geese in the back garden. It didn’t present any problems with our dog but they were quite vicious! Despite this we had an excellent holiday and the cottage was excellent and in a superb location! Would definitely return in the near future. Sept 2007.
