Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The location was very peaceful. The owner had three children and two dogs but we never heard them. It was ideal for our purpose which was visiting the Solheim Cup golf event. The property was very tastefully furnished and the rooms were a very good size the bedrooms being very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was a very nice welcome pack and the owner and family were very pleasant. The local village store and post office in Crossakeel was excellent being run by a very friendly family. Sept 2011.
  2. A lovely rural setting that was a bit of a trick to find. But once there we were welcomed with fresh bread, crumpets and other assorted Irish delicacies that helped us through until we could replenish in Kells or Oldcastle. There is much of interest in the area including megalithic ruins older that the pyramids, ancient abbies and monastery castles, and Celtic crosses galore. For those inclined it was close to golf courses, beaches and eateries of all variety and dimension. It is an fun day trip on the bus to Dublin, where the Book of Kells is now housed. Our hosts were friendly, yet respectful of our privacy and a great help with setting up the TV system. The cottage was comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and pleasant eating area. There was even a small electric fire to keep off the damp and chill. It is simply an excellent base to explore all that Meath Co has to offer. The only draw back is no internet wifi. June 2011.
  3. Lovely cottage, fantastic location and beautiful area surrounds it. Received a lovely welcome with goodies. Many historical places to visit in the Meath area. May 2011.
  4. Lovely hostess - welcome tray on arrival. Quiet location. Clean, warm and comfortable. Aug 2010.
  5. Very quiet rural location. June 2010.
  6. Owner left a welcome pack of groceries which was much appreciated. May 2009.
  7. Nicely situated. Aug 2009.
  8. We were very warmly welcomed and the cottage is ideally situated. April 2007.
  9. The owners of this cottage will make you feel very welcome, I would recommend this for families to use. With the close proximity of Navan, there is plenty to do if the weather lets you down. This is an ideal place to rest and get away from all the usual hassles of day to day life. July 2006.
