In a magical place, Craig Ben Lodge (ref UAK) and Craig Ben Cottage (ref SKKH) have stunning views over Loch Uisg and the surrounding mountains. Spacious, welcoming and comfortable they invite guests to relax and to chill out. The Cottage has its own secluded garden with a meandering stream and delightful pond while the Lodge has 2 acres of walled garden and natural grounds reaching down to the loch shore. The nearest beach is only 2½ miles away at secluded Laggan Sands. Ideal for friends or families holidaying together, these properties are well equipped for modern living, yet enjoy a timeless atmosphere. The abundance of natural wildlife and spectacular scenery make Mull a paradise for the discerning visitor. Its outstanding landscapes and coasts attract walkers, artists, photographers, cyclists. anglers and bird watchers. Deer, otter and wonderful bird life including sea and golden eagles are close by. Discover minke whale, basking sharks, dolphins, porpoise and puffins on boat trips to magnificent Fingals Cave on Staffa and the Treshnish Islands. Iona, too, is a short boat trip where guests can see the famous abbey. The colourfully painted town of Tobermory (40 miles) is definitely worth a visit as is seeking to enjoy local seafood and naturally fed beef, venison and lamb in restaurants or at home. There are two 9 hole golf courses on the island. These properties provide a truly ‘get away from it all’ holiday experience and are perfect for larger families or small groups. Locally produced dishes using island produce can be provided on request in advance. Shop/PO and pub 11 miles.

  1. Craig Ben Cottage is the perfect holiday base on Mull. Beautifully decorated, clean, extremely comfortable and set in a stunning landscape. The house really feels like a home from home - every appliance and gadget imaginable is in the kitchen and in each bedroom. The towels are from the White Company and the bedding is luxury feather down pillows and duvets. Every window has a breath-taking scene. This was our second visit to the house - our third to Mull - and we loved every aspect of the house and mull. Wildlife is just on the doorstep and there are many many walks you can take straight from the front door. We love Mull dearly - and we love this house. We feel very privileged every time we stay here. March 2012.
