Property Description

Set in the heart of rural Shropshire, Crabapple Peace is a traditional stone-built cottage and is the ideal base for touring and exploring this delightful corner of England. Standing detached, the cottage has been sympathetically renovated and provides modern facilities yet has retained a feeling of an ‘olde-world’ cottage, with a multi-fuel stove within an inglenook fireplace. Excellent walking and cycling is available and makes the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Beamed living/dining room with wood-burning stove in inglenook fireplace, and sofa-bed (alternative sleeping only). Galley-style fitted kitchen. Separate toilet. Original winding stairs to first floor: Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet.

The wood burner made for cosiness when the Diamond Jubilee weather failed to come up trumps. Excellent walking on Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc and many of the Shropshire Hills. Best home made, fresh-cooked fidget pie ever and tasty ale in the recommended George and Dragon at Much Wenlock - unmissable. June 2012.

It had everything we needed and, despite the terrible weather we had while we were there, we really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to come home! June 2007.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
