A delightful house in an idyllic underwood holiday setting, on the edge of this picturesque seaside village with glorious panoramic views of Courtmacsherry Bay. Open fire; charmingly furnished; small pretty garden. Ideal location for exploring Cork and Kerry.

Only 8 miles away is colourful Clonakilty, with its lively shops and restaurants. The gourmet town of Kinsale is also within easy driving distance.

The area has numerous sandy beaches making this the perfect place to relax and unwind. It is an ideal walking area and the upper harbour is a bird-watcher’s paradise. Watersports, sea angling, golf, horse riding and tennis are all available locally. The location makes an ideal base for exploring wild and wonderful West Cork. Shop and pub 0.5 miles, restaurant 1 mile.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Utility room. Separate toilet. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

  3. The location of the property, directly opposite an estuary with a wide variety of sea birds, was excellent. The property is well equipped with everything you need for a short-term stay. We enjoyed cycling to the next town (2 miles away) along the path that follows the estuary. If the weather is good, you couldn’t stay in a nicer place! July 2010.
