Only 7 miles from Lake Windermere and situated in the small village of Lindale in Cartmel, within the Lake District National Park, this delightful ’olde worlde’, 18th-century cottage adjoins the owner’s home and is just 2 miles from Grange-over-Sands with a golf course and railway station. This character cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished to provide an excellent holiday base from which to discover the Lake District. Just a short drive away are many historic buildings such as Holker Hall, Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle, whilst the charming village of Cartmel, with its famous 12th-century priory and the annual Cartmel Races, is a walkable 3 miles. Visit Lake Windermere and see The Aquarium of the Lakes, the Beatrix Potter Exhibition, take a steamer trip, or simply wander along one of the many lakeside walks. P/O and village shop 100 yards, 2 pubs serving food 200 yards.
