Property Description

Tucked away in a peaceful, private courtyard shared with Fordingbridge Museum and Tourist Office. Fordingbridge is a small market town with a medieval stone bridge and fine arches and riverside to enjoy, all a few steps away. Blue Flag beaches of Bournemouth, Poole and the cathedral city of Salisbury are a short drive away. New Forest National Park is 11/2 miles. An ideal holiday base. Shop 30 yards, pub 60 yards.

Ground floor: Living room with French doors/dining room. Kitchen with tiled floor. Separate toilet. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, one (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 single. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet.

Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. DVD. CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Freezer. Wi-fi (payable to BT Openzone). Small courtyard and furniture. Garage (1 car). No smoking. Friday to Friday.

The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful new forest and surrounding area, It is tucked away in a small quiet court yard, with the tourist information only a few doors down (and the tesco express literally a few yards away!)You’ll never be short of places to eat either, pubs are plentiful and there are at least three within walking distance! The coast is only a short drive,as is Stonehenge, there’s so much to see and do you’re spoilt for choice. The cottage is very clean and comfortable,with a pleasant private courtyard area with patio set.I would certainly visit again and recommend it to anyone. May 2012.

  5. In a quiet location in a cul-de sac, yet in easy reach of shops, nearest of which was about 2 mins walk. Very nice little town with lots of pubs and restaurants as well as a variety of shops. Feb 2012.

  8. An exceptionally convenient location in a pleasant town close to all amenities. Interesting walks nearby especially near the river. A very comfortable cottage with the convenience of an en suite as well as main bathroom. Instructions about rubbish collection, use of appliances and emergency telephone nos. were clearly displayed on a notice board in the hallway which was very useful. Overall a very enjoyable stay.   11. Cottage is in a brilliant location - next door to the information centre & museum. Fordingbridge was a lovely place to stay with everything we needed - an excellent pub (The George), fantastic children’s playground, good coffee shops & delis selling delicious local cheese & produce, really good butchers shop & really close both to the new forest towns & also the coast. It was great having a garage as well. July 2011.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
