This spacious light and airy detached holiday bungalow has been totally refurbished to provide a cottage furnished and equipped to a very good standard, with gas coal-effect stove in the lounge and two bathrooms it is ideal for couples. There are breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from the lounge’s big picture windows, whilst the superb kitchen makes the most of the views. It is a short walk from the bustling centre of Coniston with its numerous shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. At the heart of the Lake District and Hawkshead, Ambleside and Hill Top Farm, Sawrey (the former home of Beatrix Potter), all a short drive away. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 120 yards.

  5. Excellent location. Peaceful but a few minutes from shops and local walks. Parking for 2 cars, and two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for couples who want some privacy. Lovely lounge, communal areas and kitchen. A perfect place to stay for a holiday in the Lake District. You only have to read all the lovely comments in the visitors book to confirm this. Sept 2011.

  8. The furniture, fittings, equipment, media and general standard of accommodation at Copper View are second to none and it is ideally located for exploring the Lake District. The owners are helpful and friendly and the property is easy to reach from the M6. May 2010.
  9. The bungalow is spacious and light, it gets early morning sun on the kitchen dining area where there are two basket chairs to enjoy reading the paper. It is level throughout, no internal steps, my husband has Parkinsons disease so it is ideal for people with walking difficulties. Shops for newspapers and milk just 5 mins away. May 2010.
