In the grounds of the owner’s home, this detached well-presented holiday cottage is situated in Uplyme, on the outskirts of the popular World Heritage Jurassic Coastal seaside resort of Lyme Regis, with its picturesque cobb and harbour. The quaint resort offers a traditional coastal town with fishing, swimming, boating, fossil hunting and scenic coastal walking along this beautiful coastline, and within easy driving there are many attractions to visit and enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with laminate floors. 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Two Freeview TVs. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Wi-fi. Large shared lawned garden. Patio with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. Welcome pack. No smoking. Friday to Friday. NB: Pond in garden, 40 yards.

  6. This is the best property we have stayed in. Peaceful location in the beautiful garden of the owners. Village within easy walking distance - once you find the short cut by the cricket ground! Instructions for getting there fine - don’t be put off by the narrow lanes just keep following the directions. A property we would certainly return to if we visit the area again. Couldn’t fault it. June 2012.
  7. The Lodge was found to be in an excellent location in as far as the scenery and the quietness. A little hard to locate the first time but the owners directions were spot on. Nothing seem to be lacking in the lodge and the owners were always on hand if you needed any any information etc. June 2012.

  13. This is a superb base to explore the Dorset coast around Lyme Regis and was very comfortably furnished for 2 making it a cosy gem. It was very quiet and dark at night but that was no problem as the outside lighting came on as you approached it. Very private but the owners are there if you have a question but are not intrusive.   15. Everything you need for a self catering holiday, well presented, comfortable and welcoming. The area is excellent for walkers and birdwatchers. There are lots of places of interest to visit within a short distance, including Lyme Regis which is within walking distance. There is a shop, pub, serving food and a garage in the village. Overall if you want a peaceful break a great place to be. Jan 2012.
  16. Wonderful secluded and idyllic location. Close to owner’s property but don’t let this put you off as they are lovely and very respectful of privacy etc - you won’t know they are there! Cottage outstanding quality - wonderful fixtures and fittings and spotlessly clean. Very warm and cosy, lush bed - soooo comfortable. Owners left a welcome package - champagne, milk, shower gel, and we arrived to homemade mince pies and sausage rolls. And tea, coffee an sugar is provided. We loved our stay - a real ’away from it all’ experience. Dec 2011.
  17. A wonderful cottage with absolutely everything you need to fulfil your holiday in the Lyme Regis region. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. The setting is conducive to a very restful holiday. We found it an excellent base to then go out on many wonderful coastal walks. Will highly recommend staying here. Oct 2011.
  18. The accommodation is purpose built rather than adapted and a lot of though has gone into it. It has not been done on the cheap but nice quality furniture, crockery etc. Bed very comfortable. Nice bathroom. Good quality loo paper, plenty of towels, tea towels and cloths etc (these little things help you feel content!) Owner on site and welcoming but not at all intrusive. Very good shower.
