Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A beautifully equipped barn conversion. All mod cons but with rustic charm. Idyllic setting. The best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in. The owners were lovely and very helpful but left you to get on with your stay. Log fire laid ready on our arrival although we had fab weather and didnt need it! we will definately return! 10/10! July 2012.
  2. One of the best cottages I have stayed in. Everything is provided and the place is spotless and comfortable. Good centre for touring and many good walks from cottage. May 2012.
  3. Good accommodation, with onsite chickens and ducks. Very easy to get to chichester and surrounding area for days out. March 2012.
  4. Excellent property with plenty of space in the cottage. Interesting surroundings with farm location but village community on the doorstep. Walks from the door and easy access to the South Downs Way and many places of interest to visit. Being High Season meant that the cost was rather high but well worth the money this time. Aug 2011.
  5. A converted farm building with lots of character - exposed beams, open fire etc. Large lounge/diner and a feeling of space throughout. Quiet location with views over countryside. Ideal for dogs as plenty of walks on the doorstep. Only a few hundred yards from village shop and excellent pub. Dec 2010.
  6. Clean and comfy house. Nov 2010.
  7. Everything was very well-presented and up to expectations. Oct 2010.
  8. The property is a lovely modern conversion. The open fire was very welcoming. The bus service into Chichester is an excellent ’door to door’ service. Sep 2010.
  9. Plenty of space, up-to-date facilities, good heating. Other cottages close but this one faced away, across a field. Sept 2010.
  10. Spacious property for four people nicely set out. Aug 2010.
  11. It was spacious, had everything you could possibly want during your stay there. It was lovely and clean and the owners were approachable, friendly with information if you wanted it. The village store was very good, with all the produce you would expect but with added extras such as chutneys and pickles etc made locally. The staff were friendly, with the owners of The Dairy working in there on certain days too. May 2010.
  12. Very nice spacious property with excellent facilities. Very clean. Oct 2009.
  13. Clean, comfy bedrooms and plenty of living space! Sept 2009.
  14. A very well equipped and clean property. Both myself, my partner and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our break in January and have already re-booked for March. Lovely surroundings and friendly people. Cosy nights in front of the real fire after a long country walk were very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a quiet break with their pet away from all the hustle bustle. Jan 2009.
  15. We were so pleased with every aspect of our accommodation. We have spent many holidays at self-catering units and would certainly rate this as one of the best. The owner was a charming man and could not have been more helpful and courteous. We took the break at short notice to be near our son who had had an accident which involved a stay in hospital and an operation on his injuries. Mr Bray and his family were so kind we really felt we were among friends which helped us so much. Thanks to you all. April 2008.
  16. Wonderful place we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was excellent for disabled. Jan 2008.
  17. Overall the family were very impressed with the accommodation. We needed just a few days to rest after a recent bereavement, and it fitted the bill. Peaceful, quite and very relaxing, warm and comfortable. What more can we have asked for. Nov 2007.
  18. Superb location, especially for attending Goodwood Festival of Speed!! June 2007.
  19. Quality of accommodation exceeded expectation. Beautiful cottage and surroundings. Will hopefully return later in the year. Feb 2007.
  20. The property was of a high standard, and we were a bit worried about taking the dogs in the cottage, but there was all the cleaning equipment you would have at home and more, all you had to take was yourselves and food, everything was in the cottage that you would need. Excellent holiday. April 2007.
