With an enclosed south-facing garden, it makes a wonderful holiday base for exploring the many nearby sandy beaches and secluded coves, as well as coastal paths. Golf, fishing, bird-watching and riding locally, with Penzance offering shops, restaurants, inns and museums. Day trips to Isles of Scilly possible. Shop 1 mile, pub 2 miles.

  3. Travelling from Australia for a family wedding, Cobblestone Cottage was a home away from home. The quiet location with the mewing of buzzards overhead was very restful. The house and garden are family friendly. We were fortunate enough to have fabulous weather (at the end of September!), so didn’t need the dvd collection. The freshly baked scones & clotted cream on arrival were divine. Shame we live Down Under otherwise we’d be back in a shot. Sept 2011.

  19. A beautifully clean cottage with all the little touches that make a week away so much easier. The cream tea on arrival was delicious and the enclosed garden was great for the children, although bad weather meant we couldn’t use it as much as we wanted! Aug 2008.
