Clunton is ideal for walkers, cyclists and riders, or those who simply want a retreat away from city life. Conveniently sited for Ludlow, famous for its historic castle and restaurants, and just a short drive from Powys Castle, David Austin Roses, the Severn Valley Railway and Wroxeter Roman Fort and vineyard. Clunton also has a village pub offering real ale and home cooked food which is within walking distance of the cottages. Craven Arms railway station is only ten minutes away and offers direct links to Manchester, Cardiff and London. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

All on ground floor: Living room with double sofa bed/dining room with patio doors, beams and wooden floor/kitchen with beams. 2 twin bedrooms. Shower room with toilet.

Both properties: Partial Economy 7 NSH, partial electric heaters, electricity and bed linen included. Travel cot and high chair available. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed courtyard with patio and furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. Friday to Friday. NB: Small gated brook.

  1. We including our wee dog were made very welcome. The home made sponge was moist and delicious and stocking the fridge with milk and coffee was very thoughtful and appreciated. All things considered we would be more than happy to stay here again. Sept 2012.
  2. It was a lovely welcoming surprise to find tea, coffee and milk on arrival and a wonderful home-made cake. So much to see in the near locality and the pub across the road does very good food. April 2012.
  3. Lovely place, comfortable and a great base for walking. The cake and pint of milk waiting on arrival were a nice touch. If you want to eat in the pub then book as it gets very busy. Nov 2011.
  4. Lovely spot, very clean, nicely furnished and equipped flat, owners dogs very large and very friendly so it helps if you like dogs!Would certainly go there again. Nov 2011.
  5. Very clean and well provisioned but the seating area was a bit cramped for 4 people. Fortunately the weather was good. The farm itself was wonderful with dogs donkeys and ducks to entertain us. April 2011.
