Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A most lovely setting and relaxing house to stay in. Could do with a tumble dryer. We have stayed here twice and would consider a third visit. Sept 2011.
  2. Beautiful location with fabulous veiws accross the loch and some marvelous sunsets. Aug 2011.
  3. Stunning property in a truly amazing remote location. Will try and get back there one day. July 2011.
  4. The house was amazing, aleady booked two weeks next year, this house has everything. The views were incredible fom every angle from the house, the wildlife was literally right on your doorstep. Stags birds (very handy to have a bird book in the house), eagles galore, and take some jam as we found out the Pinemartin loves it. Two minutes from the property, turn left at the bottom of the drive you could book boat trips on the loch, speak to a nice man call Graham, this is an experience of a lifetime. The seals and porpoises were great and if you love fishing they have all the gear you need. If you need groceries go to Stonthian to the Keystore, they have everything and I mean everything, there is also a post office, and you can get Petrol. There you could also head to Acharacle they have a general shop, a fish and chip shop and a Doctors Surgery. Sanna Bay & lighthouse is well worth the drive, the scenery is amazing (a good tip take a flask or drinks and a few snacks with you). On the way to Stronthian look out for the green forestry signs that say HIDE, you work your way down a path to a secret lookout where you can watch otters, birds, and the funny seals sunbathing in the sun, this also had two car parks one disabled and the hide is very easy to get to. Everywhere you go on to Ardnamurchan there are hidden gems to find. Best tip I can give you take the Corran ferry it takes two minutes and cost £6.40 but saves driving around thirty extra miles. Fort William is worth a day trip if you have never been, huge Morrisons and lots of other shops there and Ben Nevis is certainly worth going up, even for a cup of tea to post your postcards and dont forget your camera. I thinks thats enough secrets for now but can’t wait to return counting down the days. Best holiday we have ever booked your company. Thank You!! March 2011.

  8. The house is great and the views are wonderful. July 2010.
  9. The views from the house were exceptional and fully visible through the floor to ceiling windows along one side of the building; plenty of opportunity to see wildlife - we saw stags and hinds on the hill beside us and golden eagles flew overhead during our stay. Nov 2009.

  14. Superb property and location. Weather was wet and cold, but then we didnt expect anything different in Scotland in October, and with the house having an open log fire - we didnt care about the rain and snow! Oct 2008.

  18. Cluain Grianaech... beautiful accommodation providing everything we wanted from the holiday. Stunning scenery, breath taking views, peace and tranquility. Easy access on foot to Loch side or mountain walks, with the Isles of Mull, Skye and the Nevis Range all within easy striking distance by car for day visits. The hardest thing was leaving and we have to return because there is so much more to see and explore. Feb 2008.
