Formerly the Georgian lodge to Ciliauwen Mansion, it is set back from the main road beside the private estate drive, lined with rhododendrons, in the very picturesque Preseli region. Rich scenery, many fine beaches and coastal paths from where sea-birds and even seals can be seen. Ideal for golf. Horse riding nearby. Fishguard 2 miles. Shops 2 miles, pub 1 mile.

  1. Secluded setting but side of main road which can be quite busy. Be prepared to drive to most places. Lovely area with great beaches for children and pets. Cottage very clean and well equipped, the owner had left welcome tray on arrival - very thoughtful. A great place for a break away. Oct 2012.
  2. It is cute little lodge which we found very comfortable - slightly odd layout as the two bedrooms are rather far apart - not so good if you had very small children but fine otherwise. Very nicely furnished and well-equipped kitchen with a raeburn and a normal cooker! The location is very convenient for getting around and just two minutes drive from "Something’s Cooking", an excellent fish and chip restaurant/takeaway. May 2011.
  3. Very comfortable lodge-house just off the road with easy access to coast at Fishguard and shops in Haverfordwest. Lots of good walking in the area - Preseli Hills & coastal path. Close to places of interest such as St David’s & Pembroke. Ideal for a quiet break for people who enjoy the countryside. May 2011.
  4. One of the few cottages that had adequate food storage space, other than a fridge. A real gem of a place, couldn`t fault it in any way. Real value for money. April 2011.

  9. The scenery around the Pembrokeshire Coast is magnificent and the best way to appreciate the area is to walk along the Coastal Path which is very accessible. There are many secluded beaches and interesting coastal villages which can only be reached on foot. The property was in a good location and it was comfortable with good kitchen and although the storage was limited it was adequate for two people. July 2009.
