Attached to a small country hotel, Cilgwyn provides spacious holiday accommodation for couples wishing to enjoy the surrounding area and beaches. Furnished to a good standard with excellent views across Tremadog Bay and beyond to the Llyn Peninsula and one of Wales’ most important tourist attractions - Portmeirion. Other attractions include the Ffestiniog Railway at Porthmadog - a steam train known as the talking train, Harlech Castle, Criccieth Castle, walks up the nearby waterfalls, a day trip to Snowdon and Blaenau Ffestiniog with its slate caverns. Fishing, golf, horse riding and rambling available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with sofa bed (for alternative sleeping). 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Electric cooker. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Freezer. Patio and furniture. Ample parking. No smoking.NB: There is an unfenced pond in the garden.

  8. The studio was spacious and had the added bonus that all the rooms were seperate; usually the living dining and kitchen are all open plan. More should be said about the view from the patio area, which is stunning. Aug 2010.

  11. Very comfortable. Rooms a little smaller than on photographs and with quite a lot of nick nacks but still charming! Lovely comfortable furniture - always good.Tasteful bedding. Well equipped [machines] kitchen but oddly arranged and quite minimal cooking equipment and bowls. Bathroom - spacious and always a lot of hot water. Lacked a place to hang towels [storage only] and there should be a hand grab in the shower. Parking great, level access throughout, wonderful patio outside [not mentioned in property details and a great selling point]. Lovely host. Aug 2009.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
