These well appointed and attractive detached holiday cottages lie in the village of Kewstoke, only 1.5 miles to a local unspoilt beach at Sandbay and the National Trust headland of Sand Point. They have been renovated and offer a comfortable and peaceful base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and resorts. Only 3 miles to Weston-super-Mare with its long sandy beaches, aquarium, shops and traditional family attractions, and the smaller resorts of Clevedon, Burnham-on-Sea and Brean. With easy access to the M5, it is a short drive to other coastal areas of North Devon and Wales. The surrounding countryside includes the Quantock and Blackdown Hills, and the Somerset levels and moors, providing ample opportunities for walking and cycling. Further afield places to visit include Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole, the cities of Bath and Bristol, Glastonbury and Wells. The owners provide a free family ticket to Puxton Park Family Attractions for bookings of 3 nights or longer. Shops, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with patio doors. Dining room/kitchen. Dual sided staircase to first floor: 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 single. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet.

Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, terrace and furniture.

All properties: Oil central heating and electricity included (£20per week October-April). Bed linen included. Travel cot and high chair on request. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Barbecue. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. A very spacious property with a good size garden for a dog a good beach close by for dog walking no good for bathing though and free parking. A few good places to eat and a good choice of supermarkets near by. Overall a very nice place to stay. May 2012.
  2. Nice property overall but the internal layout could prove difficult with the stairs for some. The stairs go both left and right ate the bottom one flight to service a single bedroom and bathroom the other to service the second double bedroom. If you sleep in this double you have to go down stairs and up again to get to the bathroom!! This is a very dark area and you need to put the stairs lights on if you need to go to the bathroom at night. No stair power points for a night light. We have stayed a number of times in one of the other barns on this complex without any problems at all. Tip = If you want to cook in this property take some smaller dishes pans etc. with you but this applies to many self catering properties. Jan 2012.

  7. Nice Clean property. Other than one toilet upstairs and being quite close to the road, it was lovely and good value for money. It was great that it was only 5 mins away from sand bay...nice quiet beach away from the hustle and bussle of Weston super mare. April 2011.
  8. Cider barn cottage was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We were there in March because my eldest son lives in Weston Super Mare, and it was my grandson’s birthday but i would love to stay there in the summer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage to anybody. March 2011.

  17. It was all very private. The garden was secure for our dog. It was not far from the beach at Sand Bay where they allow dogs on the beach. June 2010.
  18. Very clean and spacious. In the past other cottages we have used have been not good. We loved the layout of the rooms it gave room for privacy. We loved the separate staircases it had a grand feel to it and also helped with privacy. April 2010.
